No Linda was never injured, Linda asked if she could use her sister as a double in some scenes instead of editing Linda twice since her sister is identical so it won't look fake like most double shots you see in movies. Linda's sister appeared in 3 scenes including the Robet Patrick part at the end where he pretended to be Sarah Conner calling out to john.

I had a chance to spend some time with Linda in Dallas a few years back (she was here for a film festival). She didn't beat anybody up or do any chin-ups, but she was genuinely charming, cool, and fun to be around -- a truly nice person. She really is "Sarah Connor".
It probably will never happen, but I'd be delighted to cross paths with her again sometime.
I wish they would have touched up on Silberman's character. He played such a big role in T1 and T2, never believing Sarah or Reese;s story, and then he founds out Sarah was right all along, and they completely drop his character.

Linda was amazing in this. The shot of her with those shades on with her guns lol. As a little girl seeing her I was in awe of such badassness coming from a woman. I wish there were more strong female characters out there. Instead most directors want to make women pretty and fight in some damn heels. They focus more on sexualizing then making a great strong female character. There's nothing wrong with looking pretty but being taken seriously is the hard part. And most directors fail.
Angelina Jolie is a Linda Hamilton wannabe. I dare Agent Salt or any of Jolie's so-called action heroines to even try to be as bamf as Sarah Connor. At least Connor was awesome without have to strip off her underwear to cover a camera, change her hair color a dozen times, and be tortured naked (all for the audience's sexual pleasure) - all things in the movie Salt.
Salt wasn't even that bad, but the whole concept was marketing Jolie's sex appeal, and thus, selling a woman's sex, not a hero.
Amazing actress, she was wonderful in both Terminator movies, but her career hasn't just been about those two particular films, she has done so much more than some people give her credit for.
Linda Hamilton was the most realistic Sarah Connor out there. She was fierce, cold, brazen, traumatized, and had BALLS OF STEEL. She rocked out loud, she rocked in your face, she delivered the adrenaline and was the embodiment of a female fighter. This is the best ever.
Cameron asked himselve a question " how Linda can kick my ass?" and being a freakin genius he created all this breliant action siquenses. Sarah Connor #1. Go get them girl.
Sarah Connor is a character who proves that just because you have a pussy doesn't mean you have to be a pussy. Some women out there should be taking notes from her.
It is quite the transformation but if you think about it, it was only natural...I mean she didn't have Kyle around to protect her anymore and she was locked in that mental institution and had to fend for herself. She had to get out somehow.

@RmFrRifleman So true! Hamilton and Weaver still are the best action heroes in my opinion. Their characters actually had personality build-up and they looked the part. Now the female heroes all look pretty and don't even break a sweat. Jolie used to be really good by buffing up and looking strong and healthy for Lara Croft and Smith but now? Please a skeletor body while kicking grown men's asses? No, it's not believable. Also the superficial character descriptions are laughable.
Hmm. Maybe I'll get my Ph.D in artificial intelligence. Maybe I could get it to model the human brain faster than usual, form better programmatic models and systems of neural network programming, and then build a Terminator... Yes, that's what I'll do in the next few years.. It sounds like a goal..

Despite what some may say in my opinion she is what made having a little muscle without looking manly appealing to the ladies out there. She was in top shape for this movie, I remember my mom oogling her when this movie first came out. Lol.
On the first season of Sarah Connor Chronicles, Dr Silverman brought the whole story about when Arnold came down the hall threw the guard through the window like a rag doll and then sees the T1-000 in which described as a changling the face of Mercury. When it liqufied itself through the bars.
i really dig how much sarah connor behaved more like reese in T2 than anything, watch the scene where they take Miles Dyson to Syberdine and you'll notice she is wearing the same coat Reese wore in the first film. Yeah, Cameron made a huge mistake by making Aliens, he jus threw away Ridley's/Giger's whole concept of the TRUE alien creature. And, Marines in space? What a joke, we wouldn't even need stuff like that in that far in the future. Alien 3 stuck with Alien more than Aliens did for crying out loud!
Jurassic Park though, I've read both books, the first and sequal, and I've got to say that I liked the Lost World movie better than the book. Didn't screw up anything about the original first film in my opinion.

I've had beautiful and strong ladies in this life, some loved me, few of them still. But sooner or later i left them, cause they did not possess the "fire and ice" soul combination i need. Sarah is the perfect example of the Lady Beast i need.
bottom line, they should have stuck with the original characters for all three movies. Sarah conner chronicles shouldn't have been done w/o Linda Hamilton period. Don't get me started on Salvation

i really dig how much sarah connor behaved more like reese in T2 than anything, watch the scene where they take Miles Dyson to Syberdine and you'll notice she is wearing the same coat Reese wore in the first film. She showed more emotion than any other character in the whole film and is by far the most badass chick to appear in a movie to this day.

robertsdigital, I understand YOU...it's painful to watch the first two terminator movies be destroyed and EXPLOITED FOR MONEY..LEAVE IT ALONE..IT'S DONE..kind of like how they fucked up Jurassic Park and THE ALIENS SERIES..for me, after the 2nd movie, none of it is canon..I just forget it even existed..it's the best way to block out the pain...

Yeah, Cameron made a huge mistake by making Aliens, he jus threw away Ridley's/Giger's whole concept of the TRUE alien creature. And, Marines in space? What a joke, we wouldn't even need stuff like that in that far in the future. Alien 3 stuck with Alien more than Aliens did for crying out loud!

Jurassic Park though, I've read both books, the first and sequal, and I've got to say that I liked the Lost World movie better than the book. Didn't screw up anything about the original first film in my opinion.

booste30, I liked the lost world...but the third movie was awful....same with aliens..good movies with good sequels...then they start making a third movie and then it goes down hill...same with alien 3 which sucked..I liked aliens more than alien 1 to be honest..
