@colingawellover1 thank you! for this one I used oil pastels. I can definitely create a drawing of Ruffian and Rags to Riches, but unfortunately I only do commissions because I am a college student trying to make money to pay for school. thanks! i just use whatever drawing paper i have lying around the house, or I steal some from my art classroom. ;) i can't remember the brands but any local art store would have good paper to use.

i love zenyatta i first heard of her on the show jockeys on animal planet i thought she was amzing i think she never lost a race yet well mayb a few i havnt heard of her 4 awhile!!!:)

she hasn't lost a race yet in 12 starts so she's undefeated! They just tried to set up a match race between her and Rachel Alexandra but her trainer declined (the right decision I think, match races are way too dangerous- look what happened to ruffian)

o thats soo good but ya match races r a little 2 dangerous but seabiscuit and war admidral were fine but i guess i know what he means cuz shes such a good race horse and they dont want her 2 get hurt u know what i mean!!!:)

even though no one was injured, war admiral's spirit and will to run was broken after that race- he retired soon afterwards because of it. i don't like match races in general, but that's just my opinion i guess. :)

ya i know and seabiscuit died a few years after and he was only 14!!!and ya i dont like match races either i dont even like racing(but i like racing movies and i like wathing them!!!:P)

thank you! No... Zenyatta is a thoroughbred racehorse, one of the greatest fillies ever to live, in my opinion. Possibly even better than Ruffian. :)

Great drawing, but you missed her sticking her tongue out of the side of her mouth! They use tongue ties on a lot of these racers, including her. My 1/4 horse did it & it drove me nuts. Put his tongue over the bit.

Thank you! In the reference photo her tongue was sticking out of the other side of her mouth, otherwise it would be in the drawing as well!  haha ;)

Wow! Your talent continues to blow me away. You are quite possibly the best equine artist on YouTube, that I know of. You are so good, and especially how well you can colour them! I can draw, but colouring well is another story. If I could, I would totally pay money for one of your drawings. But I'm not sure if shipping would work... That's actually a good idea though! Hmmm... *Thinks pensively!*

I would love to!  The charge would depend on how big you wanted the picture to be, if it was in color or black and white, that sort of thing. But the cost wouldn't be anything over the top, as I'm no professional!
