It's a depressing song about the pathetic, lonely existence of the average man growing up, losing his childhood dreams, and living a regular, unfulfilling life in Tokyo (or any other big city, I presume). I'll translate the part of the song that's been included in the ending theme.

Ah, this is the song that first got me interested in the Japanese language. After watching the bad dub of Angel Cop, my young teenage brain being confronted by this song was suddenly totally aware of it's awesomeness. Not sure how it suits the series... best thing about it!

Yep, I did a little. I keep meaning to go back to it, but haven't yet... it's something I will totally learn one day. Still listen to J-Pop and stuff.

J-Pop. You have any artists or songs you could suggest. I really like Faye wong. She sings a song called "Eyes on Me". Granted this song is in English, but she does many in Japanese. I think her voice is beautiful!!

Yeah, I liked that song back in the day. At the minute I listen to KOTOKO, she's available on iTunes, or just type her in to YouTube. Listen to Being, or Wing My Way to start with. Also, Mosaic.WAV are great, but a bit more pop, varied and niche. But give both of them a chance.

Ok, I listened to the songs you suggested. There great. I like the Mosaic.WAV a lot. I listened to one called Mosaic.Wav Amusement Pack, which I really liked. Any other suggestions? Also, what is your fav anime?

I don't watch much anime anymore... I like Full Metal Panic! and Hellsing, but my favourite is Azumanga Daioh. It's a comedy, and might not be for everyone, but I love it.

I checked out both Azumanga Daioh and Full Metal Panic! Still haven't had a chance to look at Hellsing yet, but I'll let you know what I think of it when I do see it. Azumanga was okay, but I don't feel I would be missing anything if i didn't see the rest of the episodes. As for Full Metal Panic! I am now on episode 13. I like it. And I now understand what kind of anime you like. You should check out New Dominion Tank Police. I think you will like it. Let me know what you think. ^_^
