Why are you ppl trippin about the sounds, who cares Jon put a ton of time in this video and those are most likely the sounds it cam with so appreciate the video since Jon use his time to make it when he could have done something else.
nice job, everytime your videos are great :) but it seems to be everytime the same, landing or take-off .. but I think your vids are still great and they'll be great in the future ;)
@Jon5700 dear sir am out off words for your work its brilliant videos excellent but one question were do u get the airports from tho coz i doubt u actually buy each of them from thos addon places lyk aerosoft were do u get thoe detailed airports coz u reall make me feel as if i have flight simulator 1990 yet i got fsx
Is why I pretty much refuse to download POSKY planes, I use the VC for landing, taxiing, flying, parked(lol) and when you see no VC it's a huge let down.
nice video mate - the animation of the gears on most of POSKY's planes are just spectacular particularly their 777 - it's a shame that they're not totally supported for FSX :-(
The thing I like about you Jon is that you actually have skill in flying and not just an amazing computer. Other FS youtubers think their amazing graphics and fps will make up for their lack of skill, but you Jon - You have both.
But if you watch reallife landings you'll find out that in MOST of the landings are applied when main gear touches down, simply to make sure the aircraft stops in time. When you land the only thing you want is to slow down.
Apart from that I don't see the danger/risk of applying them on maingear touchdown. You could explain me if you want.
When you apply reverse thrust, the air is sucked in at the front and blown out at the front. The actual directional change of the exhaust doesn't happen until about a second after. The sudden amount of full thrust has enough power to force the plane (more likely in smaller jets eg. 737, A318) to hinge on the main gear and cause the tail to hit the ground. Any more questions, just let me know.
This is correct! As for example, I lastly changed back to FS2004 from FSX, because I want to play games with acceptable framerates. I don't really now, why FSX uses so much more ressources while it still looks not really better than a smooth running FS2004 with add-ons. I have an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400, Geforce GTX 285 and 4GB Ram but I still have big performace problems with a good add-on plane on an add-on airport with detailed weather and 100% traffic.
that's really smooth landing!

1 thing I don't like about POSKY is that they only make the exterior, that's it. No VC ,2D or sound.... but they got realy nice exteriors

they only make sound VC on some models like the 777 and the embraers and sound for the 737NG

why the reverse when nose up ?????????? and i love the beautiful beast
solidlove12 2 years ago
Reverser while holding the nose up is not really special. ;)
crasc222 2 years ago
Damn, why do so many ppl think reverse thrusters can't be applied when the nose is still in the air.......
It is just NOT true!
Reverse thrusters are applied as soon as the main gear touches down.
zendium91 2 years ago 5
Can!
Can be applied when main gear touches down. Some airlines don't as a matter of safety and some allow it primarily.
LegoFreakFarter 2 years ago
Partially agree with that.

Just if i had a graphics card i would be on FSX all the time.
TheMaskedReaper 2 years ago 2
You won't be able to play FSX well just with a better card. You need a very fast quad core CPU. Since the game is more CPU intensive.
GatwickSpotting 2 years ago
I have that just ran out of money to get the GPU!
Its got a crap onboard ATI graphics card
TheMaskedReaper 2 years ago
It isn't a must to have a quad core CPU to get good frame rates, i have a duo core CPU and my frames are still good.
Gamestar11 2 years ago
yeah im using an onboard gpu atm. So yeah wanting a decent Nvidia card.
