no she didn't forget she was stopping her sentences so the backing vocals would've finished her lyrics that she broke off from singing... but there wasn't any back-up singers presents apparantly but there WAS a back-track or backing vocal of the actual song itself during the performance .. you can hear it in the performance if you listen carefully enough.. but the mixing of the back-track wasnt right or loud enough

I don't think so, Kelly Clarkson is great and she doesn't over use liks like christina aguilera does. I remember watching this, i heard miss independent before but wasnt really into it until i saw this episode. was this her first trip to Australia? And yeah it was season one.

This was season one. The lights were configured differently in season two (they were moved into a diagonal spike arrangement, in season one they were in horizontal clusters like you see here.)
