  • This song rocks! My kids watch it over and over on that episode of yo gabba gabba.

  • the writing for this song is awful, lol.

    I love it anyway!

  • @wowthatsukd Finally, Taking Back Sunday is a girl band, though this fits you nicely. They've also already filmed an appearance on Yo Gabba Gabba. Also, the majority of Coachella’s attendees are college-aged. Please do your research on Coachella, Yo Gabba Gabba, and music in general before you speak next time; you look like a fool. However, feel welcome to continue this argument, I'm sure you'll eventually say something that isn't entirely wrong.

  • @wowthatsukd Third, Tenacious D is unquestionably a real band. They have produced two full-length albums. Their first album went platinum, and came five years before their movie. Their music is as legitimate as any punk song, and considerably more complex. The movie was also much cooler than you so please do not use it in future arguments. In your own words, "ur so dumb its actually kinda funny".

  • @wowthatsukd Second, here is an article discussing Dave Grohl hanging out with Yo Gabba Gabba at Coachella, which also talks about other possible "sell-outs" who may soon appear on the show.

He is much cooler than you, so please omit him from your examples in the future. He has obviously played at Coachella, along with almost all of your listed bands including Blink-182, New Found Glory, Rage Against the Machine, Rise Against, etc.

  • @wowthatsukd Nice try, but most of your bands are perennially in the top 40 and shamelessly mainstream, virtual "sellouts" by your own definition. Of the somewhat lesser-known bands that you "discovered", the majority of them are still well-known and play punk music. Technically speaking, punk music is famous for being a musically simplistic sub-genre consisting of little more than power chords. As far as musical intelligence goes, you have none and it's painfully and unfortunately blatant.

  • Haha, this is from my godson's favorite episode of Gabba. We had to record it on our DVR because it's the only one he wants to watch anymore.

  • @wowthatsukd btw, Yo Gabba Gabba has featured Jack Black before too. You know, the guy from Tenacious D. The band that regularly features Dave Grohl on drums. The guy from Foo Fighters, Them Crooked Vultures, Probot, NIRVANA, yeah you might know him. btw Yo Gabba Gabba also played at Coachella this year, but I'm sure you know what that is since you're such a big music guy.

  • @douglaswells777 yah but dave grohl wasnt on yo gabba gabba so you cant even bring him up retard. and i dont give 2 shits for jack black OR tenacious D. tenacious D wasnt even a real band retard. it was a sponsored band for a movie. ur so dumb its actually kinda funny

  • @wowthatsukd Wow those are some pretty sweet bands. Guess you're really into music, bustin' out names like those. Criticizing a group for "selling out" and then listing off some of the most well-known, mainstream names in rock makes for a poor argument. Turn off your daddy's classic rock and go discover your own music.

  • @douglaswells777 hahaha shows how much you know about music... half of the bands i put is my time of music that i discovered. not my daddys. but nice try. and do you know what selling out is? its not being apart of the mainstream.. its about selling out your ORIGINAL genre of pick that you once played and played for the enjoyment of music and then switching to another genre because it is apart of the mainstream that makes the most money or fame. O and if you want to hear some of MY discovered..

  • @douglaswells777 music, way ahead of daddys is; sublime, rise against, taking back sunday, new found glory, G.B.H, The Circle Jerks, NOFX, rage against the machine, hahaha you are obviously not musically intelligent at all. or just plain out stupid...

  • @douglaswells777 and yah i know what coachella is. that BIG ASS music and arts festival. for hippies, old people, and sellouts....yah i know. congratulations for yo gabba gabba. non of my bands dont go there because they play half decent music and dont sell themselves out...

  • @wowthatsukd DO NOT QUESTION THE SEXUALITY OF A MUSIC PERFORMANCE. ELECTING TO PROVIDE FUN ENTERTAINMENT FOR CHILDREN IN A ONE-TIME GIG DOES NOT CONSTITUTE "SELLING OUT". I HOPE DJ LANCE BITCHSLAPS YOUR MOTHER.

  • @douglaswells777 i agree with you, well said

  • Comment removed

  • @douglaswells777 Hahaha if you're as big into music as me (which your obviously not) you would understand that 1 gig can immensly change a bands reference to the industry as easy as they just did. Who gives a fuck if they were "providing fun entertainment for children" did Hendrix, Nirvana, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Blink-182, Foo Fighters, or Bob Dylan do that? HELL NO! because that shit is completely gay. like that is the gayest song i have ever heard. this "good clean music for children"....

  • @douglaswells777 isnt what shiny toy guns is about. they never made shit music like this. that is why they are sell outs. they sold themselves out for 1 extra gig for money, extra fame, who knows. and idk who the fuck DJ Lance is but if he is in shiny toy guns that would be the GAYEST rock name i have ever heard of hahaha

  • I watch this episode at least 5 times a day. My daughter loves this show and I love this song!

  • HAHAHAHAHA SOOOOOOOOOO GAY OMG HOW CAN A BAND BE SO LOW TO ACTUALLY AGREE TO DO THIS! HAHAHAHA WOW SELL OUTS!

  • @wowthatsukd this is actually one of the best programs thats out there right now.(for a parent who listens to cranberries, ozzy and static x) i think it was pretty cool that the band even consider to perform on a program like this, but i guess you would have to be a parent to apreciate something like that. i bet when that day comes you'll think differently.

  • @77supermommy0709 Well the thing about parents is. they like sellouts. its a awful, terrible thing that should be outlawed. but yes, its still legal to like sellouts. parents have NO taste in music. And i am not trying to be offensive when i say this. Music is literally my life, i have my ear buds in 24/7. Think of it this way. a mediocre rock band. playing decent ROCK music goes on a 1-5 year old kid channel on nickolodian. they play a song that totally blows balls and i saw the episode they..

  • @77supermommy0709 looked really pissed when they were playing it except for the drummer and the pianist. which in retrospect he looked really fuckin retarded. they were all wearing "nice, clean" costumes and playing "nice, clean" music they sold themselves out for possibly, money, extra fame, or they were just goin down the drain in the industry and had no other option. whatever it is it isnt cool to do what they did. they really gave rock a bad name in that gig. and when the day comes of me....

  • @77supermommy0709 being a parent. i will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER even respect for people who could sell themselves out so much. never. remember music is my life and it always will be.

  • @wowthatsukdthe wow, you almost brought a tear to my eye, so you love music, i got that. the demeanor of a band on yo gabba gabba was appropriate, whether you think it makes them sellouts or not. either way it's not something i'll going to lose sleep over. i may go see yo gabba gabba live in November, give me your size and address, i'll send you a t-shirt.

  • @77supermommy0709 haha word, mommy! i would love a t-shirt representing that i go to concerts to watch bands demean themselves in front of thousands (or probably hundreds considering its Yo Gabba Gabba). My adress is 6969 Shutthehellup DR. my size is 69. i know ironic.

  • i love the harmony in the chorus...

  • Not a fan of Shiny Toy Guns, but I have to admit that I like this tune. I did think it was pretty cool when I saw them on Gabba.

  • They ROCK for doing Yo Gabba Gabba. In fact, it's what pushed me over the edge and made me a fan!

  • me too. i thought it was funny how they changed their name for the show to make it child appropriate, the shinies!

  • @Kwood4

    "Child appropriate.."

Kids haven't changed at all. It's the adults who poison their lives that have changed. Anyone else remember when you had cap guns and stuff? I hope the politicians notice that the crime rate is actually significantly lower for those who have exposure to toy guns, video games, etc.

  • I am addicted to this song!!!!

  • i am addicted to this song too. I have two boys 4 and 1 and I was watching YO GABBA GABBA the Halloween episode and i cant get it out of my head

  • me too!
