  • girl you sure could use alot better saddle. you know one that big enough for you and that pony

  • ur too far up n the withers...:(

  • Is this in Idaho Falls?

  • @TinyT1992TinyT

    No, that is Ohio

  • Hi to the haters! The mini obviously didn't mind what they were doing. He didn't show any sign of discomfort. And how would you be able to get a small enough kid to control and train an unbroke mini? Yeah thats right, you can't. You have to have someone like the person in the video.(: Bye haters!

  • I love your pony!! what kind is it?? How much weight can it hold??

  • that saddle is so far up the pony's neck..you need a crupper if youre going to ride with a saddle. It looks like its in pain...

  • Yes and the Saddle is up kinda high looks uncomfortable for the horse. Hes an adorable pony!

  • Well if its a Shetland they can hold 250 pounds ;)

  • the saddle doesn't fit the horse

  • Where did you get the saddle?I ride my minis bareback, but have wanted 2 get a small western saddle 4 them

  • The girl that was riding him had the saddle. I think it was just a small pony saddle.

  • u can go to a saddlery shop and ask to get one fitted for him/her, but it wud cst alot, lol, or just look on ebay, i found a few on there

  • She was the one who trained him. The smaller girl rode him at the canter. It is hard to get someone small, that also can teach a horse to ride :) It worked out well. They are both great riders.

  • thats adorable....

but isnt she a little big

  • ponies can hold 4 times their own body weight.

  • but miniature ponies arent bred for that, shetlands can cuz they r hardy, but miniature ponies dont have stocky enough legs, they r too thin and breakable

  • but obviously this horse is fine because he isn't bucking her off.

  • I know he isnt bucking her off, cuz the pony wudnt be in pain at themoment, it would damage its back in the long run, probabky not permanently but cud cause some damage

  • @PonyLova777 Mini's can hold weight too. The same ratio that a shetland can. They ARE bred for riding, just for smaller riders. Granted he can't carry too much, but he still can. They're only as thin and breakable as an avarge horse's bones.

  • @softballbabiii14 lol, no. ask any knowledgeable horse person, mini's cant hold the same weight as shetlands, shetlands are bred in scotland to carry fully grown men over the moors, look it p minny's were bred for showing, a delecate breed, they may be able to carry children and stuff, but they cant carry as much weight as shetlands

  • @PonyLova777 Lol I didn't actually mean to say same ratio as shetlands, but same ratio as a regular horse. Obviously not the same weight, but 20% of their body weight. Which of course mini's are smaller than shetlands weight wise which is why they can't hold as much as them.

  • @softballbabiii14 yeah, lol :P they also say miniature pony's are horses in ponies bodies, cuz of their personality

  • I am not expert, but I think 60 pounds or so. The girl who trained him is older than the girl who rode him :)

  • I have always wanted to know, how much can 42 inch ponys hold?
