  • I got mine installed 3 weeks ago. It's on the other side of the wall of my bedroom. Ever since it was installed I've been getting severe migraines. I had a professional come and take a measurement of the radiation being released. There were pulses of up to 2000 microwats. My husband and I now sleep in the living room, but there are still high pulses of radiation.... everyone promoting these in the face of all the research, is absolutely sick, or just ignorant...

  • @serpentbird24 Thank you for your comment. Data from the Electric Power Research Institute and other scientific testing shows that smart meters transmit only about .0001 milliwatts of radio frequency per square centimeter, measured at 3 feet, during their average 45 seconds of transmission per day. That is only a tiny fraction of the RF from a cell phone, microwave oven or Wi-Fi wireless router. You can read more data and answers to other FAQ on the subject at srpnet(dot)com/smartmeters

  • @SRPConnect I have personally hired an RF surveyor to come an survey my smart. We were recording pulses of up to 1.9 milliwats every 5-10 seconds. This far exceeds the health and safety standards of Canada, which state one should have no more than .6-1 milliwat exposure. I am not sure who is collecting your data, but I personally witnessed my surveyor use two different devices which measured the same readings. A smart meter is far worse, and its around the clock.

  • @MrHillDo Thanks for the comment and we appreciate the attention you’re giving to your energy usage. We’re working toward eventually providing real-time information through an in-home display unit that communicates wirelessly with the meter, but currently the prior day’s on and off peak usage is available online by 8am the next day.

Yes, we have heard of the Kill A Watt meter. Our Energy Analyzer program loans them out to customers, for free. More info is available at srpnet.com
