what he is talking about is the tip of the iceberg, many visions and many hallucinations depend on the state of the subtle body system of each person. one has to study or have a good working knowledge of metaphysics. It's a dynamic and very complex subject, his book is good, but it goes much deeper.
Jeremy Narby is hip to some REALLY neat shtuff. For more on this train of thought read 'The Cosmic Serpent' by Narby and 'DMT: The Spirit Molecule' by Dr. Rick Strassman and 'Inner Paths to Outer Space' by Strassman et al
Humans know how perception works. Read Arya Nagarjuna's 'Root text on Wisdom' [C.E. 200 AD]. Read the 'Prajna Paramita'. The realized beings know and have been kind enough to teach us. Western materialist science has been taking the slow way and will get there eventually...
He is going a fascinating road. His book might one day be a milestone. We might even get closer to understanding where the dichotomy of subject-object derives from or comes together. Realism and idealism might become closer than it seemed. The guy is a really good.
Wow, that's an awfully easy sentence to type, lgtech - what makes you such an expert? Have you done the research? Have you done as much research as Jeremy Narby has? Are you God?
Nothing makes me an expert and I am not God. I just learnt that while studying my physics degree. It is not something expert-like, it is plain explanation.
Thing is that people is used to "just believe" what anyone says in front of a camera if he/she uses strange jargon they cannot understand.
yeah, like the earth is FLAT eh dude, and like, the Sun is the centre of the Universe, and matter is solid, and the polititians are here to help, and Swine Flu is real, global warming is real, "War makes PEACE, The world was made when Jesus was born, The Titanic was UNSINKABLE, JFK was shot by a loan gunman, the banker dont cause economic depressions and always charge the people generation(indiginous) after generation!!! and our Scientists know of 11 dimentions (fact) do the math!!!
have not you ever bitten Wintergreen Lifesavers in the dark? Use of force always causes release of energy, by the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Most chemical reactions release a little bit of heat, right? I think it's possible cracking DNA releases a tiny bit of light.. Science is a not a religious doctrine and will change.
Yes, it was a trigger book for me as it is for many people. He does a good job of helping bridge the rational materialist mind and the shamanic perspective. Important work indeed. Peace.
He is a good friend of my best friend who translated his book into French and had it published by Georg where she used to work, in Geneva, Switzerland. He is an absolutely brilliant young man.
Thank you for the video. I've been intrigued by Jeremy's ideas since I first realized the Caduceus represented DNA. When considered in conjunction with plasma cosmology and holographic universe studies my imagination spins with possibilities.
Jeremy gives light to what should be obvious to us all but with intellect, beauty and style.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
The idea that a DNA molecule could produce optical transitions (photons) is just silly.
