Nice video! Here's my approach to doing the loop: line up fairly close in low gear so you're looking really straight on. You can even stop the car entirely. Up the gear all the way up to Loop Gear and rocket forward. I find the further back I am at high speed, the greater chance of getting off target. Clearly many ways to skin this cat!
