dude you need to check out rush and conquest. there is a reason why they are the most loved game types. TDM is basically a learning simulator for new players.

Pure arcade games include UT and Quake 3. They always are super fast paced with a reticule on your HUD. By nature they are twitch based. COD is an ADS twitch game. Similar to an arcade but the ADS rules it out. Halo is more arcade than COD but it's kill times are a bit too high to be pure arcade. Is BF3 a bad game? No. Is it a good game? Meh. BC2 had a better launch and is a better more stable game. BF3 is fine 4 PC, shit on console. Community sucks, server issues, gun imbalances. Over hyped.

@WerCNC i get ur point, but perks and killstreaks and panick knifes aren't limited to a certain amount of people everyone can use them, so its actually balanced don't complain that u get killed because they have a UAV use ghost or get a counter UAV.
Sks with ironsights or ACOG rule with this btw,and Ive played battlefield for a while and also cod but I just don't think cod can match up to the hard work that dice has put into this game,and I agree just take the time to play it and get into it and you will love battlefield,I'm glad that's what you did fist.

I like bf3 alot but you got to understand fist just because you, me and whoever likes this game and thinks its a great game doesnt mean that everyone should have the same likes as you. excellent point! However, I respectfully disagree with anyone not liking this game. BF3 is epic, and so is MW. Without the Battlefield series, there would have never been a MW series. People just got used to the easy camping and killstreaks from COD. It's all good...but I like a challenge in my gaming. Any real gamer should love this games. Its a steep learning curve, but the pay off is gratifying. I like your comment though....good points.
i went over to bfbc2 from cod because there was more to it than just running around the map like a headless chicken,i just got more satisfaction from helping team mates and holding areas and taking objectives(and vehicles).I think i will play bf3 more than mw3 for the same reasons.

I am 15 and I started playing mw2 because my friends wanted me to play but a few months later the game got repetative and I found myself looking for a new fps to play. I stumbled apon Bad Company 2 and I couldn't put it down, the realism and enormity of the maps and vehicles had me hooked, in this game you know when you got killed that 90% of the time that person earned that kill no bull shit attached.
I've been a huge COD fanboy. The only FPS I ever really played was COD. I bought BF3 for the fuck of it, and to kill a little time before MW3 came out.
After playing the game for a little while, I'm seriously gonna cancel my MW3 pre-order. And I'm not saying that to troll on people that like COD (shit, I'm one of em), it's just that I don't think I'll be able to play it at all after I've played BF3. It's that good, imo.

Why do the players' nameplates (or whatever you call them) change so much? Sometimes I see a full name, sometimes I see a health bar, sometimes I see a star or something above the head of players. How does that work? It seems hard to tell which team players are on. Is it like that to be more realistic?
the game is too complex... too much going on at once. the games arent personal enough. a shooter should be like cod where its simple yet deep at the same time. a video game shouldnt take time to be good at... ITS A GAME!! just play it without having to play 7 hours a day. aside from that, you move like a robot in this game, the movement arent very fluent. cod is much more playable.

BC2 had a better launch and is a better more stable game. BF3 is fine 4 PC, shit on console. Community sucks, server issues, gun imbalances. Over hyped.

Nice mate i've litterally just started watching you videos and I have to say your logic is sound. It was only this morning so guy I know was bitching so hard about not being able to have a good run at the game without getting raped. In the end he made a judgement and said he thinks the game is shit. My exact words to him were you need to get used to the game before you can get good at it.

@the1log keep telling yourself that. BF3 like all recent DICE games hides behind the premise of play me and unlock cool shit. All the better weapons are ALWAYS unlocked later on. Low levels suck for a reason. Imbalance. Only after patching is it fixed. If you get that far and unlock everything, then there isn't any point playing anymore. Game gets dull for all but the hardened fan boys and community suck skill wise. Basing the game on killing actually sounds wiser. You can always kill

@the1log well that's good. Can't say I still have it nor can I say I hadn't returned it when I replied to your comment over a month ago. I took BF3 back and got Arkham City. Not regretting it. Sure DICE patched it but for me, BFBC2 is better. Wasn't what I expected it to be, aka, a game I could play for a year. I couldn't play it for a week. Yeah DICE games take about a month for newbie's to adjust to. If your on console, that's enough time to get good enough to top each lobby.

Ur exactly right mw3 is what it is and bf3 the same way it just when u play battlefield u don't get the feeling of being cheated so much. Mw3 spoon feeds its followers u get soo much help from uav to panic knifes, lil to no recoil, and just tons of perks a d kill streaks. It's arcade and bf3 is simulation no big deal. Just know the difference!

@WerCNC i get ur point, but perks and killstreaks and panick knifes aren't limited to a certain amount of people everyone can use them, so its actually balanced don't complain that u get killed because they have a UAV use ghost or get a counter UAV.

Sks with ironsights or ACOG rule with this btw,and Ive played battlefield for a while and also cod but I just don't think cod can match up to the hard work that dice has put into this game,and I agree just take the time to play it and get into it and you will love battlefield,I'm glad that's what you did fist.

I like bf3 alot but you got to understand fist just because you, me and whoever likes this game and thinks its a great game doesnt mean that everyone should have the same likes as you. My buddy has put about a day into the game and doesnt like it does that mean he's wrong no. I understand the people who play it for 10 minutes and say they dont like it but there are people out there who put the time in the game but dont like it very much. You just make it seem like everyone should like this game

excellent point! However, I respectfully disagree with anyone not liking this game. BF3 is epic, and so is MW. Without the Battlefield series, there would have never been a MW series. People just got used to the easy camping and killstreaks from COD. It's all good...but I like a challenge in my gaming. Any real gamer should love this games. Its a steep learning curve, but the pay off is gratifying. I like your comment though....good points.

i went over to bfbc2 from cod because there was more to it than just running around the map like a headless chicken,i just got more satisfaction from helping team mates and holding areas and taking objectives(and vehicles).I think i will play bf3 more than mw3 for the same reasons.

I am 15 and I started playing mw2 because my friends wanted me to play but a few months later the game got repetative and I found myself looking for a new fps to play. I stumbled apon Bad Company 2 and I couldn't put it down, the realism and enormity of the maps and vehicles had me hooked, in this game you know when you got killed that 90% of the time that person earned that kill no bull shit attached.

I've been a huge COD fanboy. The only FPS I ever really played was COD. I bought BF3 for the fuck of it, and to kill a little time before MW3 came out.
After playing the game for a little while, I'm seriously gonna cancel my MW3 pre-order. And I'm not saying that to troll on people that like COD (shit, I'm one of em), it's just that I don't think I'll be able to play it at all after I've played BF3. It's that good, imo.

Why do the players' nameplates (or whatever you call them) change so much? Sometimes I see a full name, sometimes I see a health bar, sometimes I see a star or something above the head of players. How does that work? It seems hard to tell which team players are on. Is it like that to be more realistic?

the game is too complex... too much going on at once. the games arent personal enough. a shooter should be like cod where its simple yet deep at the same time. a video game shouldnt take time to be good at... ITS A GAME!! just play it without having to play 7 hours a day. aside from that, you move like a robot in this game, the movement arent very fluent. cod is much more playable.
