Oh yeah there were some big holes in that road before the hurricane. lol now they have an excuse to fix the road! It is crazy how messed up the beaches are and how EVERYTHING is GONE

I do know that the road was rather cracked up before ike..now..its just pretty much gone XD

i use to go fishing here every summer. i cannot believe all of those HUGE rocks and bait shops and piers are GONE. Ill never forget seeing this on the news after the storm, 16 days later when we got electricity back. loads of great memorys gone :(

i fished on the lighting fishing pier with my boyfriend like a couple weeks before the hurricane.

i miss the dike, so many good memories
