Best VGM 901 - Ragnarok Online II - Swamper

I haven't played MMORPGs or any MMOs all that much, but it's obvious I have developed some kind of affection to ambient game music. I feel enthusiastic, even thrilled listening to this piece even though I've never played Ragnarock Online or anything the like. Despite player chats and other things breaking the illusion a little, the feeling of exploration and amazement is very hard to sweep away.

I had no idea Yoko Kanno made music for video games! I absolutely loved her work in Cowboy Bebop (I'm pretty sure the anime was made as a vehicle for her amazing music! Seatbelts RULE!), and Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex sounded damn cool as well.

I subscribed a long time ago because of that, lol. I've found great music from games I've never played before. The one that sticks out for me is the Enthusia Professional Racing - AWAKENING ~ Nürburgring Suite track. I never knew that game existed but it has become one of my favorite video game tunes.

There are a lot of tracks I personally don't care for but hey, everyone has a particular taste in music. Keep up the great tunes Supra. Here's to 1000 VGM .:) This song rocks too

i wish they never gave up on this game. the only real problem i had with this game was the name they chose to bear (RO2) and the battle system. It could have worked out -maybe- if it was called something else... look at RO1 and this game lol... where is the connection?

Oh man, I love the RO2 soundtrack :D RO was my most favorite MMO, and the music really made it something special. Then RO2 was announced and they said Yoko Kanno was doing the sound track, I pretty much jizzed my pants. While the game was disappointing, the soundtrack for RO2 is amazing!

Well here's to another 100. Can't believe #1000 will be reached, never thought it'd go that far when I started it.

This is actually one of my favorite meditating game music, eyes closed and just relaxing. It's great for surfing the web or doing some homework as well. I'm a fan of Yoko Kanno in general, I still listen to Cecil's Garden quite often.

@SupraDarky This game OST is really awesome and varied. But, it is a shame that this iteration of the game (RO2: The Gate of the World) got scrapped in favor of RO2: Leyend of the Second. What is even sadder is that some of the song that were composed by Yoko Kanno, if not all of them, will not be in the new game.

soundTeMP will compose the new OST and not that i don't like the way he make his songs, but: Yoko Kanno > soundTeMP, in my opinion.
