And I think that we all should take into account the fact that he's not a dancer and he never took lessons. @d4nielar The argument of his moves being largely the same is bullshit since you can't expect someone to learn a entirely new choreography of that level in the length of 1 season. He adds new moves but to master something new like the knee-running you need over a year of training...

Michael's choreography however comes down to feeling the rhythm, his moves can't cause serious injury unlike razy's -try jumping and landing on your knees like that. I think it's pretty impossible to change more...

I have to agree that Razy's moves are harder to pull off and more dangerous. However, regardless of how risky your act is, if you do it over and over, in the same manner, it will get dull, eventually. Comparing their character, Razy is seems too nervous, sensible and weak, while presenting little charisma. Michael, despite knowing very little english, has more charisma and his psyche seems to be less feeble than Razy's.

Razy's act is harder. Michael has more rythm.

@slapsus yeah but the fact that he's so sensible about his act makes me love it all the more, it shows how much feeling he puts into it. He adds enough -for me at least- to create enough variety so it doesn't become dull. Micheal is more confident about it which might be logical since it's more of a standard act which he executes very well -or so I presume since my knowledge about dance&rhythm is neglectable-.

All I know is that I prefer Razy's act over Michael :p

That's your personal preference. What I expressed was objective in nature. Razy's reaction is,most likely, not due to his lack of confidence in his act,but because of his lack of confidence in what other people might think of it. Because of that,I think Razy would do well to stop caring what other people think about him and only take what is correct from an obj point of view. Atm he seems too transparent, influenceable and dependent, which could make other ppl take advantage of him

Razy might be naieve but it's what makes him who he is, I like that he get's so emotional when he is praised.

Take an MJ impersonator, for instance. If he does a mediocre impersonation, and knows the act is not really good, but does it in front of people who idolize MJ, he pretty much knows, or at least expects, a certain reaction.

He seemed pretty confident in his act, in the idea that he knew that his dancing was good, but he cried because he either didn't expect such good feedback, or he was happy that he earned a chance to improve his life, or the positive attention he was getting fulfilled his need of validation which is apparently pretty high. Ofc, any combination, or all of the 3 listed possibilities are probable.

Conf in others' reaction = about other people's reaction/opinion about performance, which is not dependent on the performer's view on his/her own act.

For ex: some1 works in a porn store. he thinks it's a good job and likes it = conf in the job. doesn't know what others might think = insecure about other's reaction

Second, it doesn't really matter, try jumping that high and landing on your knees even if you're wearing knee caps, it still generates quite some force in other places of you body since your femur doesn't really absorb the force, it just redirects it to your hip, pelvis and spine. Seeing as you have to practice quite a lot to do it like that, you'll have to repeat that over and over...

It's harder than Michael Moral's dance... period...

And second, you can have your own opinion but I know what falling off a bike feels like and that's why they invented the knee caps. And of course it matters, I don' judge by harder moves or not, Razy just had a better character than Michael and he played it well even by hiding his knee caps. It's what makes good magic a good show.

Therefore you only need a right stance while you are mid-air and the rest, the pain isn't there or very little. Razy's main purpose was to make everyone believe he was Neo from Matrix. He was likable but not necessarily the best "dancer". This is why we are arguing.

Michael was very average, for a French Popper! They are usually tidy & stylish. I was not impressed. But Razy was very sharp, with a good range of style, Hittin, Tickin, Strobing... I was really impressed by his ground moves! Much more like a Bboy!
