The Spartans wore body armour made from brass. The victory came mainly from ship battles. Hollywod is clearly biased

I like this movie, but it bothers me how they depict the Spartan history so poorly. Their Polis system did not have 1 king, but 2, the husband and wives generally did not like each other because they were around members of the opposite sex for the majority of their life (men lived in barracks and ate in mess halls from age 7-60) and the religion is off. Still a cool movie to watch!
