once airborne forget about the brake handles, grab the brake lines with your hands either reverse(twisted) or staight flying and avoid collision with anything. If flying twisted and looking back it's best to grab the brake lines straight, meaning left brake line with your right hand and so on. As MikeKung would do. Look for his technique on other youtube vids.
its not the best idea to hold down the canopy unless it is absolutely neccesary i.e. if there is a dust devil as there is a risk of getting caught and strangled in the lines. maybe he should have held it down with c lines or b lines

if two people hold the canopy the right way ( as in a way the wind cant blow into it ) its a very save way to prevent the glider from lifting off.
