  • Grande maestro!!!

  • very nice to watch.

  • this is so cool!

  • Very nice video! What a treat! This is how martial arts should be! They both set an excellent example he world!

  • I love Chi Sao, it is like a chess match of sensitivity, and energy. It helps to teach you not to react off of vision, but to move off of feeling. It is a challenge and I am fortunate to have a sifu that is skilled in teaching it (he gave us a link to this video to watch it). Just seeing this video has me wanting to train right now in it. I love it!

  • bruce lee

  • Ive trained with him a couple of times hes good based in the uk

  • Whatever your lineage is, this video is a treat.

  • blessings.

  • My Sifu has learned by bruce lees´ teacher in hong kong

  • i only wish you could see the stance changes

  • The story you're telling could be thrue or could be not... the thing is that Master Ip Chun is a very respectful wing chun martial artist like his brother and you cannot come here telling this kind of stories.

Lets pretend that what you're saying is true.. you don't know the reason why a person can be forced to do something like that. Life can be very hard for Grand Masters too.Yip Ching and Ip Chun are known worldwide and have a very huge reputation and they deserve much more respect for that

  • This is the son of the Man who taught Bruce Lee Wing Chun

  • one of the sons

  • @augdog1230 didnt ip man teach both his sons naturally sameul kwok and a another dude argh cant think who, but these guys are the bad ass warriors of wing chun ! wooop

  • Great we posted a Fantastic Interview with Sifu Ip Ching check it out

  • for those that dont really know, the real beauty of this video is the energy use by both people in order to control he opponent. It is that which really is the highest level of wing chun, and which you really very very very rarely see on any youtube vid's.

  • Man Ip Ching is awesome and is truly Ip Man continued work.He was the better of the two son, that is why Ip man gave Ip Ching the Leung Jan manuscripts and the original Mo duck (the moral virtues)scripts along with his Knives which he later gave to Samuel Kwok.Little people know that Ip Chun got a hold of the documents and manuscipts and sold them....HE SOLD THEM !!!!Luckly Ip ching Knew the buyer and got them back W/o much hassle...But hopefully i will get to chi sao with him b4 his times up:)

  • Hi pippo733 that was very well said. I'm sure Ignitusfloe doesn't mean to be disrespectful. We must all show respect to these gentlemen. When we reach the age of these grand masters hopefully we will have done the name of Ip family proud in promoting their wing chun method. Best wishes to all wing chun families and practitioners.

  • effektiv wow

  • This really deserves more views than those "Never back down" fight scenes that I watched a minute ago :(

  • this video proves one thing, wingchun is a martial art about skills and sensitivity. physical strength and agility dies with age, but skills and knowledge only grows. for all the other martial arts, once you pass the prime period, thats it for you, but in wingchun, its the opposite. great video! can we have more?

  • amazing.

  • better then shiity master wong only makes his video for money makes every pro and shyt he is blinded by money

  • very well said - wong is good for a laugh but he doesn't know wing chun, he taught himself so he misses the important points and only knows the basics

  • wong, which wong,,,

  • @youtubkicksass ; Master Wong does it the wong (wrong) way !! lol

  • Wow this is an awesome video of two man

working to perfect an art that they both love very much what a high level of skill ... very fast hand

but thats wing chun i think...

  • finally a good wing chun video!!!!!

  • AHHHHH. now my eyes don't hurt.. Now this is more like the real thing....

  • this old man has lightining reflexes

  • im glad a good wing chun video is actually on you tube.

  • ah great grand master yip ching so pro in chi sao i also yip u know zai ah

  • A girl walked past at 1:52 and Ip Ching tooked a brief glance at her lol. Girls can be distracting, even to martial arts master lol j/k

Great to see these two chi sau sparring. Some high level stuff :)

  • This old timer could kick your ass into next week!

  • 1:51 into this video u see him check out the girl as she walks in front of the camara...lmao....still pimpin lol!!!

  • So good.!

  • Ip Ching is the best Ip Man ask him to chi sau with Bruce Lee in 1969 when Bruce return to HK afterwards Bruce said to Ip Man *Ah Ching is very good*

  • oh fuck i didnt saw the video name . haha its ip ching

  • dont ever think hes old and useless , maybe hes a student of bruce lee .

    :X

  • samuel kwok is Yip Ching and YIp chun's student, not Yipman's ^__^ but he studied more under Yip Ching...i have samuel kwok's book and he himself said soo,,, soo i know i am not wrong hahahaa

  • this is the best chi sao demonstration I have ever seen, they look like they are realy getting into it and both trying hard.

  • lol. no matter how good you are, when u facing your "sifu" you will always fear and lost. ..

  • i have been 2 about 5 wing chun lessons and we started doing this last nite for the first time and i really enjoyed it want to learn more

  • 5 lessons and you start!!! my sifu took 8 to teach finish siu nim tao! which is a month(2 lessons a week)! another month of dan qi sao before double!!! but my sifu is all about the foundations

  • that old man is tough, thats why hes the master

  • That is some sick ass complicated moves! Thanks for posting the video!

  • ip ching is ip man's son, and sam kwok is one of ip man's disciplines... both of them are on top of the wing chun community but from this ved sam kwok was still learning from ip ching and the former seems he still got something to learn from ip man's son... and at the end ip ching said 'lets go yum cha' hehe!

  • you mean Kwok is one of Ip Ching's disciples....

  • Master Ip Ching's left hand is amazing

I love top level chi sao

  • Comment removed

  • The reaching is perfectly acceptable in Chi Sao... in application, you would blast forward, whereas in Chi Sao you maintain your training position to a degree.

  • Ip Ching's chi sao is perfect

  • Is this actually the real ip ching or his son or something?

  • this is Ip Ching (who is Ip Mans son)

  • of course this is the real Ip Ching.....did you mean Ip Man??

  • this is awesome... does anyone know of a way to get this translated into english? or subtitles

  • to translate their communications will be hard.. coz they were talking bout how to trasfer the force, the steps, positioning and some movements... however one thing for sure that chi sao is not only physical but also a mind game.. by watching them you can learn quite a lot... :)

  • they often seem to "reach" too much. Those that know Wing Chun, please comment.

  • I'ts fine (these 2 are leading authorities on wing chun)

  • yea...these guys are pretty much on top of the Wing Chun community. Most of the "reaching" seems to be just from loss of contact and reaching out to bridge. Don't believe all the hype about always getting in to throw 50 million elbows and stuff like that

  • I actually had two workshops with Sam Kwok in Miami, and he is really amazing, even though I train Moy Yat lineage. But the reach is just due to lost of contact, in an attempt to bridge gap and go back to comfort zone. These guys are much better than the people that just try to throw 50 punches a second.

  • Nice historical video tape.

  • 5 *****

    gagi

  • nice... sam's getting rocked

  • wonderful to watch! Just like flowing water..then crashes ..the power of wing chun!

  • am i right in saying martial arts, particularly some of the 'softer' styles, are an anomaly in physical activity, in that the older one is (and more practised), the MORE capable one is at the activity?

  • Not in all martial arts, but most eastern arts are more than the brute application of force on force. Wing Chun is designed to fit around the individual's own capabilities and thus, any practitioner makes WC apart of them, rather than they conditioning for the martial art. Ip Ching (who is in his mid-70s) is a son of the last Grandmaster and has many years experience in understanding his own body and his capabilities and uses this with great effect and does not let his age become a factor.

  • I absolutely love watching Grandmaster Ip Ching chi sao!!! Truly amazing

  • Great upload

  • awesome

  • dude im in iraq and i love this video! i mean it is true you must know chi sao to fully appreciate this video and a visual display of chi sao does it no justice! just watching this i love and it reminds me when i do chi sao that there is always something new to learn no matter your skill level!

  • Beautiful to watch, excellent video

  • Chi Sau practice is both side try to control each other and try to attack continuously Later practice from chi sau to fighting

  • Ip Ching is a real master, simple, effective. Alot of subtle stuff here.

  • 1st class.

  • sam Kwok and Ip Ching are living legends. Chi Sao doesn't have to look fantastic, chi sao is solely for functionality, not aesthetics.

  • I love this comment. Not being stuck to the system or the way it should "look"....being to concerned with how it looks makes you a slave to the system rather than using the sytem for you

  • look all respect to the masters, but it's not the "best chi sao". I feel people are being overly complimentary just because of the specific people that we are viewing. I am not saying the Chi Sao is bad - not at all, but it's nothing fantastic. Not to mention some of the stuff Master Kwok was being caught on IMO he should not have been. Not at his level, unless as many of us do, we are being extremely humble because it's our sifu.

  • I think these are pretty good comments (i gave it a green thumbs up).

    A few things in response.

    1. Kwok's chi sau sometimes looks messy but when you chi sau with him you feel under constant pressure - so that you feel you cant move properly. I assume it is the same with ip ching so they are messing eachother's moves up a bit.

    2. Here, on camera (as you suggest) kwok would never try his best out of respect for ching. I assume the same is true of ip ching out of respect for kwok.

    3.

  • You do know this is Yip Man's son right? Most of wing chun you can't see, you must feel. So any video of wing chun and chi sao, does not do it any real credit.

  • Excellent insightful comment here.

  • the best and the real wing chun is here!watch this dynamic chi sao and what difference makes than others!

  • I never get tired of watching this!!!

  • Grandmaster is the best

  • I think it's cool how relaxed the older fellow looks.

  • Far too fast for me to take in! This is where Youtube needs a slow motion feature!

  • what a kung fu

  • Yeah Nice wing chun... no doubt aboute that!!!

But damn all these martial art styles realy and they big business... they all wanna sell you self defence and confidance!!!Martial arts

are good to give you idea's and tools!!!

But if the Master would be so Humble they would teach for free... it's a big business

  • Hi Barryleevingstun. You sound as though your wing chun is fantastic. I am happy for you. We should all show respect for the masters who work so hard to preserve these arts. You have just shown the world of you tube that your skill level is low. If you had trained hard to attain a high level you would understand humility and respect but your way is to use bad language and idle threats to show your power...Nuff said. All the best :-)

  • Well said.

  • all you people who say stupid shit like "omg my sifu is better than yours! my kung fu is better!" are retards. Give me a fucking break. There are so many styles and forms of martial arts, and all you're doing is posturing to feel like you're hard, so just stfu and respect other people's art. It's as stupid as arguing who's religion is better. Might as well do that too.

  • I think you are right - too many people treat Martial arts like Religion, dogmatic belife and indoctrination are the name of the game alot of the time but shouldnt be. People should think for themselves and test stuff, all my videos are learing tools for helping people do just that. =)

  • Funny how Ip Ching checks out the woman walking by at 1.50 ^^.

  • I was gonna comment on that XD Full on kudos to the guy, such fast chi sao and still has time to take a moment to look around :D An inspiration, that man, and Sam's smile still makes me smile when I see him doing chi sao with the master :)

  • good situational awareness more like XD

  • Very nice video, thank you for sharing.

  • Thanks for posting this! Love to see things with some narration or explaining, but just seeing masters at work is great, too.

  • Samuel's top student now teaches in south wimbledon community centre, Monday nights. If you want to learn real Kung Fu then come along.

  • im gonna come down there in the next two years and show you real wing chun. i dont live in london though but next time im down that way im coming to teach show you why kwok wing chun is s**t

  • These videos are uploaded to help people learn - I hope you dont feel hard done by because i deleted your other comments but you misunderstand the videos, they are not meant to show blood and guts or how fast and devastating wing chun can be they are supposed to be learning tools. But I would recommend you go and see Kwoks student in London, to get a real life perspective.

  • My Sifu would love for you to come down. (Better take out some insurance first).

  • lol FANBOY ALERT! Sifu Kwok IMO is a good instructor to learn wingchun from. However, at the end of the day it doesn't matter who your sifu is/what your lineage is, it matters how good you are! If one is logical and hard working and willing to apply you can become good at fighting with or without a good teacher (good teacher just makes the process a lot faster) In the end its down to YOU, so step out from behind your teachers shadow and stand on your own two feet. Where do you live?

  • Master Kwoks top student now teaches in south wimbledon community centre, on Monday nights. I have had previous Masters, But none can compare. Don't be ripped off by fake Sifu's.

  • isn't mr. kwok ip chun's student?

  • He learns from and represents both of Ip Mans sons (Ip Chun & Ip Ching)

  • He's a disciple of both. He's pretty amazing in skill too!!!

  • Can we ditch the term disciple its just lame!

  • did u guys see how fast is mr.yip ching?? i just learn something new today again hha

  • its amazing how fast he is. Master Kwok is pretty fast himself!!!

  • Awesome! I train in wing chun and these 2 are both masters!!!

  • AWESOME! I train in wing chun and i love chi sao...these 2 are both masters!

  • Its Ip ching and Samuel Kwok[TRUST ME].hehehe sam can still learn a few things!Ip ching chi sau is really good

  • to clear it up ,IP CHING and SAMUEL KWOK!!!!!!

  • omfg, this video is soooooo awesome, i also hail from the ip ching lineage and i have to say this is awesome stuff. keep posting more.

  • I am from the same lineage as well. Trained in Idaho for about 6 years.Awesome chi sao, good to see real wing chun on youtube.

  • Yes It is funny all this 1 st generation sifu or grandmaster said that the two sons never learned from their father Even Bruce Lee as impressed by Ip Ching when he went back to Hong Kong to see Ip Man!!

  • i'm speechless. that was just awesome. this just goes to show that you shouldn't ever underestimate someone.

  • Thanks, that was nice.

  • Great video and what a master.. great skills and he passing it on to the next generation, that can only be good!

  • Best chi sau I have seen

  • nice video, wish i could film something like that when i was in the wing chun trip.

  • wow, they are really good, ip chings wing chun looks very unorthodox but looks brilliant, I would love to train wtih these two master, I just dont have the finical wealth and I live in london, so no decent wing chun there or traditional master like these.kwok and ching are insprirations, I dont traina t a club either becuase the all shit were I live, they dont have clue, I want to trai wing master ching

  • Sam Kwok teaches in Lancaster and Blackpool and is always happy to see people wanting to learn from him so if you are in that neck of the woods he would be happy to teach you. I don't think he has any seminars planned in London in the near future. as for money his lessons aren't expensive, he dosen't rip people off =)

  • u should look harder because there are many good instructors in London. Of course there are some that are not so good but that is the case everywhere. There is an instructor called Victor Kahn who trained directly under Yip Man and a bunch of others. I hope you find a good instructor soon because as you can see Wing Chun is great

  • Master Kwok top student recently moved to London you can contact him and learn from if you are interested Chinese learn from ip Chun in Hong KOng and Master Kwok can send you his number via email if you are interested

  • Well he looks alot better than his brother.

Good to see some BiuTze in chisau for once.

  • LOL Red Bull drink of the wing chun masters
