I didn't end up going to court, I just sent in the ticket. It's my understanding that when you get a ticket in VA. They are really strick and will suspend your license. I didn't want to go through all of that, so I just paid. I really thought that he might give me a chance since I didn't have any tickets on my record.

I did 57 in a 35 on accident (i coasted down a hill) and now i have to go to court and pay 330 dollars. i wasn't putting anybody in danger cause the road was empty. but it was my first ticket and apparently. if you're 17 you still have o go to court and pay the ticket instead of just paying. :/
