Came across this again in 4846steven's group. I remeber this one well. It was your first video post as I recall. What a great first post. The playing is superb and the vocal is delivered very tenderly.
Guitar is quite a bit better than the vocals, but all round it's a great performance. And it's a great song - Zuma being one of the best albums ever. My fav from the album is Cortez The Killer, but I also like the first three tracks or so. Anyway, nice job.
Thats a nice deep tone to your guitar. I have not heard this number before, it sounds like one of those tunes that should be easy to play but isn't. you do it justice.well done.
Great to finally see you! I am glad you chose this song 'cause I've been trying to do it for a long time but never been satisfied. Your cover is excellent in all aspects: guitar sound, v.clean playing, cool vocals and video settings. Congratulations
This is excellent and great to see you playing it. Lovely tone from the guitar and suberb feeling in the playing and vocals. Is that normal tuning - sounds quite low ... is it all tuned down?
this is a great cover. simple as that. stayed true to the song but made it your own.

best cover on youtube! Great sound!!
Just out of curiosity, that recurring riff on D, do you play the open G intentionally instead of the F# that Neil plays?

I wasn't aware of it.ned the song a long time ago, and I hadn't heard it in quite awhile, so I was playing it as i rememebered.

Don't let the fact that someone else has covered a song stop you. I enjoy hearing the different interpretations and I'm sure others do too! ;)

VERY nice! I really liked it. Your guitar work is perfect, no missed notes and great feeling!
For me, I like to use palm muting for most of neil's tune. Sometimes it's just the bass sometimes more!
look forward to hear some more
