  • As someone who also loves Pibroch, these are too short... can anyone link the full undedited version of this plz?

  • Doesn't beatboxing comes from this? I'm amazed!

  • Amazing. Simply amazing.

  • Wouldn't this put a lot of stress on your vocal chords? If it does, do they have any ways of relieving the stress or warming up before singing? I'm a singer and am just curious.

  • Americans think culture is getting the special at Denny's They don't recognize what culture is, it scares them. If they see something strange and their Bible of death cant explain it then they move right to mockery. Its OK Americans, these perfect women aren't terrorists, they aren't Al-Qaeda, they wont hurt you. Calm down Americans. You girls are amazing. White people are destroying Earth and you manage to keep on going. Shame on us.

  • @699backstab I am American and I agree with your statement. Sad commentary about the majority of our people, but so true. This throat singing is amazing. The world is full of beautiful cultures. Americans should break free from corporate radio and TV shows like "American Idol" and look for real talent elsewhere around the globe.

  • Throat Singing

  • Plastique45: I am a musician for the aforementioned "western" symphonies and operas, and yet I also think this singing is beautiful and incredible. Why exhibit such a closed-mindedness and disdain for other people? =/

  • Haa id hate to hear d noises dey make in bed

  • This is incredible. Fuck Opera, this is just amazing lol

  • interesting singing style

  • @plastique45 "our culture"? Right!! I'm sure a piece of s* like you listen to opera and symphonies!! And I'm guessing, by your comment, that your IQ has two digits!

  • @masonhymas It's music. Not frog noises.

  • This is BRILLIANT.

  • quick question but wat is the purpose of throat singing and drum dancing?

  • @runrockwater

    uhm, what?!

celebrations, before they would go to war. god... did you not pay attention to school?

  • @ReebsRae I was actually never taught that in school.

  • @TheDogDaysAreOver That's a lie, unless you are an american I will not believe that. Or if you are Canadian then you didn't pay attention in school. With a name like the dog days are over. I assume you are from the younger generation, and since the 90's it has been important to teach Canadian children about native culture. You weren't listening in school...

  • @ReebsRae Uhm, I'm English, and I've never been taught anything like this. The only things we really studied in History were Medicine through time, WWI & WWII, The Holocaust and the history of English Monarchs. (also some other less important things which were mainly related to my city I am from, i.e. the history of the transport industry). Sorry, but I am not lying.

  • @ReebsRae was nvr taught native history in school

  • @runrockwater You learn to do stuff like this, and you tell me.

  • -thats cool:)

  • Bug man bug man bug man bug man

  • at 3:25 It sounded a little like Roz from Monsters Inc

  • Thank you so much for uploading this, I used to have an old recording that went on for about 20 min's very moving.

This is the first time I have listened to anything like it for many years.

  • Im white and corney. This is fucking cool. In the southwest riding a motorcycle on acid i sang like this too. It fucking sucked trying to buy gas from the straightlaced

  • Amazing, enjoyed it immensely.

  • i thought this was a way to calm your child....your baby....also i thought when you did it face to face it was to make your partner laugh and stop....i got this from a reliable source....am i wrong

  • Don't be so ignorant that you assume that these lovely young women look like they have the devil inside. Sheesh! Learn more by looking it up in wikipedia or ask Inuit themselves what throat singing is about before you make comments like that. Throat singing was a past time in the old days when women waited for their hunting husbands to return. Also, it is imitation of various things like the wind, dog teams, birds, mosquitos, or saws. It is a very unique culture and only 155,000 Inuit worldwide.

  • @abbygail1 Im aboriginal Ojibwaa tribe. Really they dont have a devil inside. Inuit, and other tribes around the world sing for the creator (other ways called god) is to give thanks for creating this world. These women are singing the for kindness, and thanks. I dont understand Inuit language, but I do know they are not a very large culture now. Long House, and Mohawk has had over a million people, Inuit is the 17th largest. U seem like a friendly person! Thanks for posting this. I truly mean it

  • Ugh i'd have to throw up after all those throat grunting.

  • Wow. That sounds sooooo coooool!

  • Undeniably impressive... prefer a guitar riff though.

  • I would have never thought two women could make sounds like these. Amazing.

  • little treasures like these just make me appreciate the diversity of us humans even more! this is just more pure than pure!

  • I found this difficult to masturbate to.

  • That's incredible! I would've never thought that was a human's voice!

  • This is amazing!

  • wow

  • @plopper123 Wow. I seriously just rested on my left elbow to let it load and I read your comment.

  • thank you - this is simply fabulous

  • I have a tape of Inuit throat singing, and I like to listen to it whenever I feel like I am over exposed to commercialism and modern life. It is 'surreal' to listen to it, while walking around in a big city with headphones on.

  • @SuperAcceb I will try that exact thing. Busy city, this on headphones. :)

  • surreal

  • This sounds like they`re imitating the highest and the lowest pitches that jet engines produce... It makes you wonder, doesn`t it?

  • They should make a dubstep remix of this.

  • amazing... throats in rhythm? no f in way? love from AK A@ least

  • thumbs up if don burnstick brought u here :)

  • In my ears this sounds like some ethnic minimal/electro music. Really good stuff.

  • a lot of it sounds like dance not song. though I guess singing here implies sound from the mouth.

  • Ahhhh-MAZING(:

  • rozzi788green : n8vs don't need drugs for it to be awesome

  • joss doesn't like it

  • lmfao, beatboxing at its best

  • Absolutely Brilliant.

  • Absolutely amazing.

  • cool

  • Good jobs ladies!!! I love the sound and I can relate to it cause I'm from the Island of Guam and we keep up with our culture wherever we go. Keep it up ladies...you sound good and don't let losers get you down....they're just ignorant. They should practice the saying that goes: " If you can't say anything nice....don't say anything at all"

  • Indigenous pow-UH!

  • Is this just for recreational purposes or is this like used in some sort of ritual or something?

  • @juanmora19910209 not really either no rituals mainly for thier husband that is hunting to have good luck OR for bringing the start of traditional games, plus throat singing isnt just sung by girls i know a cousin of mine who would throat sing with me

  • its like inuit beat boxing

  • I love that there is culture still alive & we get to see it here, keep it up, you sound so beautiful.

  • u girls must be amazing beat boxers

  • This just sounds too cool! Love to sample this kind of stuff and mix it with other kinds of music.

  • This looks like some kind of chinese lesbian mating ritual where they're getting each other worked up to share that dildo they're holding between them

  • @mrbubetube Lesbians dont use dildos.

  • @SaxxonThespian Dont speak about things you dont know, plenty of lebsians use dildos.

  • @Insanatey YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP AND DONT SPEAK ABOUT THINGS YOU DONT KNOW SCUMBAG! YOU ARE A GUY, NOT A LESBIAN. LESBIANS DO NOT LIKE THE PENIS AND THEREFORE DO NOT USE DILDOS. BI-SEXUAL WOMEN DO. NOW FUCK OFF LOSER!

  • @SaxxonThespian I am a lesbian, I always have been and always will be. I am not attracted to men, however my girlfriend and I love using dildos and strap-ons. We don't want to be men, and we don't want to sleep with men. We do it for the pleasure that comes from stimulating those parts of our bodies. Try thinking of the dildo not as a phallic object and therefore a representation of a penis, but rather as the inverse of the vagina. I repeat,it is a tool of sexual pleasure, not a substitute penis

  • @Insanatey STOP WATCHING PORN< YOU LOSER, which is all guy- fantasy -based and has nothing to do with lesbians. UNLESS YOU ARE A HOMO yourself.

  • @SaxxonThespian I have a lesbian friend who uses dildos, but nice assumption. Use your head, girl's bodies are designed to gain pleasure from penetration in the vagina. Even though they may be attracted to girls some still enjoy that feeling.

  • @Insanatey WHAT THE HELL DO YOU KNOW ABOUT HOW WOMEN"S BODIES ARE DESIGNED AND HOW WOMEN GAIN PLEASURE? HAHAHAHAH Just because you have a so-called lesbian friend. Women gain most pleasure from THEIR CLITORIS, you dumbass! Not from inside but from the outside.

  • @SaxxonThespian The clitoris is a bundle of nerves, but that bundle goes through and has another spot inside the vagina called the G spot, both of these places can bring girls to orgasm. Im not going to respond to you anymore because it's pretty clear you know absolutely nothing about women. No point arguing with an idiot, good luck in life...

  • Amazing girls, I am so glad they are keeping their Native culture alive!

  • You ladies are wonderful you guys really helped me out on my project for the inuits. Throat singing is so unique i just had to include, keep up the good work you girls are wonderful . dont let any of these negative comments bring you down, cos all i know is that im just another comment to you, but also im a comment thats keeping you positive,:)

  • I just wonder..how bored do they get up there to resort to this as entertainment...I think art' has list it's meaning...everything can be categorized as an art.

  • This is one of the most AMAZING parts of pre-Canadian history.... and is an absolute shame that more people cannot appreciate this as a part of our history. We should be Happy to live in a country with such a culture in it... Makes me proud to be Canadian

  • this is so badass, makes me wanna run amongst the brush as a savage and club some shit.... thats probably offensive

  • @sreyno221 Considering there isn't a lot of brush where Inuit live... maybe just a little :D

  • omg you guys rock!!!!! my 8 year old daughter practices when watching your video!!

  • incredible talents, incredible art.

  • Anyone ever try polyrhythmic throat singing?

  • Sitting in a teepee/tent with a few people doing this, a didgeridoo, a couple of drums, and a pound of marijuana....that would be incredible

  • @rozzi788green word. that would be tripppyyyy

  • @rozzi788green If i was high...it would scare the shit out of me!

  • Ancient traditional beatboxing!

  • Not supposed to laugh? Well excuuuuse me for being an immature brat then. I mean no disrespect, but the first time I watched this I almost peed my pants, it was so unexpected. At the same time I was astonished by their unique skill. The Inuit people dont consider this "music" though, but a mere vocal game. They sit face to face, competing to see who can keep singing longer, and it usually ends up with laughter after one of them runs out of breath. So even they laugh!! Lighten up a bit.

  • @gmhmilenio Except that to SING, you HAVE TO BREATHE. What the hell are you talking about?

  • thank you very much for the video. It is very interesting. Th girls are very talented.

  • ew

  • this is straight up BAD

  • this is cool... and for sum reason I am strangely turned on.. hehe... ;)

  • Pow! Right in the kisser! The snack that smiles back, me lucky charms! We are farmers. Bum bu bum bum bum bum bum. Theeeeey're great! Batteries sold seperately. Hot wheels, hefty hefty! Word.

  • HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBURHUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR HUMBUR

  • I saw some hater comments out there. It's their culture, guys. We shouldn't laugh at them.

  • I never knew there was such a thing, but it was quite interesting -- I watched the whole thing. Amazing!!!

  • Ok? This is... Different lol
