you can change it by taking the cover off by using a t6 torx and then getting the white cover and switching them :D

@impossibleznothing unlocking the phone means that you can put another compnies sim card in the device and it will wrk but if it is locked you can only use tmobile's simcards it may be unlocked if you buy it at full price or after your contract is up they may unlock it for you

@impossibleznothing well... if you want the fone unlocked you can do 1 of three thing

1.try to unlock it yourself(this would be extremly difficult because it is a blackberry and they are very very secure and this would void your warrenty and is also illegal)

My vote would be for the 8520, It's affordable (Free. I'm a new customer), and does most of what the 9700 can but with dedicated music keys.

@Pyuubik That is what I am thinking. The Bold 9700 is over priced, and I don't think there is much of a difference in term of speed. If you wont be using it mainly for internet, get the 8520...I've heard the speed is still okay for surfing the net, you may wait 10 seconds for a webpage to display, BIG deal....I like the white version but think it may get dirty over time?? What do you guys think?? I might get the lavender one, they have it with Roger's Wireless in Canada.
