Once I got past the opening break down, I found this oddly more listenable than most deathcore and metalcore. The constant lead guitar was a nice touch, and the singer's voice is more full than his other genre-mates. In a way, this sounds like older, more mature metal that has just decided they want to play more modern core styled music. I think I could like this, at least well enough to give them a few more listens. Most interesting.

When they don't realize the reason (Band 1) made it over (Band 2) because they brought something new to the table. I have a handful of bands that are considered my go to bands or my favourites, and all of them have something new and interesting that bring me back to them. Just my two cents on that subject.
