At this convention, the FDP party preference for Hillary Clinton was so obvious it was a joke. Karen Thurman had said months earlier in Citrus County that Hillary would be our next president. So much for their vision eh? 

Furthermore, I'll bet less than a dozen people at that convention, other than the few who actually showed up, even knew there was a state-wide peace demonstration just a few miles away in Orlando that day. Forget peace, the FDP is all about politics,

The "unity" theme of the Democratic Party is the pivotal issue here and John's observations are absolutely accurate: The Dems are UNIFIED in their determination to allow no dissent, no debate, no discussion, and no diversity if it in any way challenges the insiders. It's a disgrace and a denial of all that led so many of us to call ourselves Democrats. Alas, I guest I'm not a Democrat any more because I refuse to do their lock-step dance.
