  • james is simply the nicest guy ever!!!

  • Well ellefson didnt add much more than lomenzo to megadeth because dave kinda makes em follow the rhythm guitar most of the time. Both crazy bassists tho but just ellefson was there during the 80s golden years and lomenzo wasnt! But 'deth are BACK strongest in years!! :D

  • i cant think of james lomenzo without a goatee. for some reason that goatee is stuck in my head.

  • that interviewer is a fucking prick!!! james lomenzo is badass though, the bass lines in united abominations were incredible.

  • james lomenzo original band by white lion...............

  • One of the reasons James is still in the business (other than his musical talent) is because he never says a bad thing about ANYBODY. This is a common trait among successful session musicians (Greg Bissonette, Steve Vai, etc.)

  • the interviewer is an idiot, very rude...but James LoMenzo is a really cool, intelligent guy...the perfect bassist for Megadeth!!!

  • Why do all reporters ask something to do with a woman president or a black president? they get pressure so much that has to suck! James is a real bass player by that I mean he makes bass line that aren't the same thing as the guitar, Ellefson fucking ruled but he quit

  • I was at this show. There were tickets available when we got there, so it wasn't sold out. (And this interview is pre concert)

One of the opening bands, "In The Moment" were TERRIBLE. I had to sit it out in the lobby. First opening band, forget who they were, rocked.

Lastly, loved the Jimmy Page comment at the end.

  • He's an excellent bass player, but I definitivly think that Megadeth without David Ellefson is like Iron Maiden without Dave Murray: possible, but a little boring.

  • the guy conducting the interview sounds like a jackass.

  • James kicks ass , he's perfect for Megadeth , i love the bass lines on united abominations , and looks like a down to earth , talented , cool guy , and i think that James is nothing less than Ellefson , just give him time and he'll prove it. \m/ JAMES \m/

  • A blonde Steve Vai!

  • lol

  • Interviewers are just background noise if you ask me. Nice guy, intelligent, articulate, rare qualities in a musician.

  • man this interviewer SUCKS, im suprised how cool James acted towards him. i agree, really nice guy man.

  • I was at this show. What a show. I love Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel. It's a great smaller venue.

  • He looks like a blonde Geddy Lee

  • Come on, Please! No body is that F'n ugly. I'm joking of course. As a bass player, Geddy is 2nd only to the mighty Steve Harris - IMHO. But they guy does seem down to earth. He ain't no Ellefson, but he's a good player, and he must have a good heart and hard skin to put up with Dave.

  • I've known James for 27 years, have played with him in bands, lived in the same building, and can tell you he is the nicest guy ever. Oh Jim!

  • wow hes like the nicest guy ever lol.

  • yeah the interviewer is a F'N BOOB. SET LIST. FAVORITE SONG. Can he speak more than 2 words?

  • sounds like somone is dying in the back ground lol

  • I know James LoMenzo! He is my BFF's dad. I love Megadeth, they rock! Mr. LoMenzo IS AWESOME!

  • Who? Zoe?

  • do u know her or something?

  • Um yeah...she's my friend too and she's in my 2nd and 5th period classes haha.

You obviously have some connection with her too.

  • yeah she was my friend before she moved to SD.

  • jlo seems to be a really good guy, very approachable type and so was ellefson

  • He looks a lot younger without the beard

  • LAWLS! I saw them live yesterday! =O

  • MEGADETH!! Awesome
