i doubt there was ever a 1.25 million new style eleanor. the point was the cars arent worth as much; there had to be some significance to it, such as caroll shelby losing his virginty in the car before it was turned into an eleanor, and then someone glassed the roof; where-as with regular shelbys, they all hold significance and dont need miracles to become anything special

"the side exhaust again dont flow with the body curves". "the hood is a loss of air induction and/or is played out with nova's / chevelle's".
...correct...correct...correct...and WTF are you thinking???...loss of air induction???...ok in racing some people have whats called a functional scoop...which allows for more air to be rammed in through the scoops...and then you have non functional hoods...like the one here...which actually serve a perpose in that they allow the builder of a car the ability to fit more under the hood...throttle body spacers maybe a hose from your turbo induction hell maybe you just want a cold air intake there

He was and is quite famous and built some now very rare cars. It's too bad that there are companys now that are building the car from "Gone in 60 Seconds" and calling them Shelbys. They are just 67 Fastbacks that are rebuilt. BUT.... they are georgous cars.
actually, Shelby was a famous race car driver that was so full of fame and money, he decided to produce his own brand of an already existant vehicle- he chose mustang as quoted by him "because it had plenty of options for improvement". Shelby is just like Saleen- or Cobra, just that same car, with improvements done to handling, drivetrain, and motor- and almost always the Body as well, you can always pick a Shelby / Saleen / Cobra out from a regular or any other mustang.
guys-Eleanor is just a nick name for the 67-69 Shelby Mustang GT350s and GT500s. It is all from the movie gone in 60 seconds. And even if it is not an original Shelby, who cares? That is a great kit to put on any 60s Stang or S197 car. Roneale makes an incredible setup. (it's eleanor spelled backwards)

i love both the GT500 and the GT500E equally but if i had to choose one or the other the GT500E would win because of how few are out there compared to how many GT500's there are. and i still understand how you can justify me not being a car person,other than what i told you,just because i like the body kit on the car,

its def a original! its been refurbished to its original condition except for the engine which needed replacing anyway!
It does however have the original 427 bored and stroked engine along with a paxton supercharger just for kicks!
