What a waste all they had to do was restack the stuff. Pulling the bottom pallet out was just not smart and it damaged alot more of the product then what should have been damaged from that.

rev the engine in neutral with handbrake on and both footbrakes applied 2 lift heavier loads. only works with diesel or lpg dont work with elec forklift

Most of the stuff was perfectly usable until this guy decided to do something about it. I bet he didn´t think about how to defuse this "bomb". If you mess up like this and don´t know what to do you should at least go and get cup of coffee first...distancing yourself from the situation makes it so much easier to find a good way to fix it. I´ve defused some fun bombs myself while being in safety cage.

Idiot is what he is. This all could have been avoided if he had gotten off of the forklift and re wrapped. Second suggestion would have been using the wall to support top skid, place forks to the left and inside of skid, turn steering wheel to the right, backed up and the other three skids would right themselves. Just got to know how the forklift works.

I work in grocery store, ive seen all kinds of mishaps and accidents involving hand jacks, and electric jacks. The worst spill, is a pallet of milk going over, CRASH.

yep, when ya f'up like that dont blame the shrink wrap,or skid,juz get OFF the fork-lift and fix it/re-wrap by hand or else this happens...specially if the product is liquid,or powder as case here.

The guy on the forklift should have to pay for the damaged product since he has no dam common sense. When something goes down you roll up your sleeves and fix it, not make it worse. 90% of the product could have been saved, now your lucky if you can save 40%. I worked with idiots like this all the time, they dont know when to park the forklift and get their hand dirty.

I have worked with situations like this for years. What this guy did wasn't even an option.  This was sheer ignorance on the operators part and it happens all the time.

You have to figure out the best alternative in order to prevent damage to the product even if it means stacking off each loaded pallet on the top to another pallet. Especially bags(sand). What he did was totally unnecessary.
