I LOVED this show, especially the years with whoopi as the center square. I knew more of the celebrities during those years then earlier years. I've got some shows on tape somewhere. Wish it was still on. Glad I taped some shows.

This must have been from early in the run. Same as the final two years of the Peter Marshall era. They later went with pick a star, ask a question, agree or disagree correctly, win that prize.

This was only the second week of filming on this version of Hollywood Squares (with Tom & Whoopie) Yes later on they revamped it with having the champion return to play another day as well

Early in the run, because the first 2 games were worth $500, 3rd was $1K, and 4th and onward was $2K ($250 was awarded for captured squares when time was called). Then of course, these values would double.
