@TwiPrime If their mouth is not sealed, they can lap off a syringe. Generally when they are 15 gm or less their mouths are sealed all the way except a tiny hole in the front. They can't lap. We must use a tube in those situations.

I do know that I would need to get her to a rehabber, but I'm just looking for info, in case I'm in a situation where I need to help one along until I get her delivered to rehab. Thanks again.

My friend and I found a newborn kitten about 2 weeks old walking home in 7th grade and we where freaking out all day trying to see if any animal shelters will come and get her. But they wouldn't open til the next day and i was waking up to feed her every hour because i loved he soo much and i couldn't have let her die. So my mom brought her to an animal shelter and they sent my mom an email saying she has a family and she is doing every well. :)

@TheVanini35 We feed babies puppy milk. When they are bigger we soak kitten kibble in puppy milk until it becomes pudding. After that we give them kibble, fruits and veggies.

i have 5 this size right now from a mother being killed on road. Do they get 1 cc each hour? they seemed to not want the 2nd feeding after 2 hrs after I gave them each 1cc. but when they are hungry wow watch out

Please someone help, I found a baby possum in my closet where my dog food was located, I knew they where in the attic but this is a first time in my house, any advice I have him in a box at the moment,

I tried to give him a little sugar water via a syringe, He has his mouth open like he is going to bite me, so I picked him up by the tail, I know if I bring him to the park an let him go its a death sentence so I will not do that, will he bite me, any advice on feeding him ..

I love opossums, and they make sweet precious pets if you raise them from babies. They must have their shots tho, just like dogs & cats do. You are pushing too fast on that drink there.

First we tube the tiny babies. Then we get them to lap off an oral syringe right before their eyes open. Then we get them to lap out of a bowl when their eyes open. Eventually we give them hard food.

it's good to have them as pets. You can leave them outside and they'll eat rats, mice, anything that's a nuisance.

Get a dropper or srynge and put natural honey around the little hole on the dropper. And mix honey in the milk. They love honey, and that is how I got mine to eat.

I'm afraid of possums. Being from Mississippi, my grandfather use to catch and eat them.

One night I caught one sitting right in front of my front of my door. It looked at me and it would not move. I did not bother it.
