  • WOW!

    I just learned something new.

I never knew that at high RPMs the air velocity gets so high that it pulls fuel from the squirters.

    Very interesting.

  • That's not a 409.

  • not the w engine i wanted to view

  • Wow sounds like a jet engine compared to my mid-1980's low compression blocks. Thanks for posting

  • looks like its definately getting some pullover

  • Now that's a proper noise!!

  • That's not a real 409 .... :(

  • @slippery396 Agreed. The numbers just worked out that way with a 400. We are building and will post the dyno of a 348 with a full roller valve-train in a couple of weeks. Please subscribe to our videos to see the video when I post it. Thanks for commenting and watching.

  • sb chevy 400 + .040 ???

  • I was watching gas coming out of the accelerator pump nozzles @ wide open pulls. I didn't know that fuel would be suck out of that circuit. What would make it hard to get the jets right.

  • well the heads and the valve covers dont have the W shape that made them unique , if your gonna have a 409 u gotta have the W, other wise it can be any big block, but it still sounds really good

  • That doesn't look like a 409....the heads aren't right.

  • Sure doesn't look like a 409. What happened to the "W" shaped heads and valve covers?
