  • nice video!

i will buy a rieju mrt

are the gears the same like that bike ?

    thanks and thumbs up

  • Can you please make a video of how to make different turns with a bike ?

  • @NicK2oo7 Sure, although I don't fully understand what you want to know.

  • The place I reckon to learn how to ride a bike, especially a dual sport or a dirt bike (or if the ground is bone dry, a road bike) is on a large back lawn or patch of grass. That way if you fall off it won't hurt as much as you won't do as much cosmetic damage.

  • nice old xr ;) ive got a 1986 mtx, older ones are better, people are always trying to get me to sell them mine :p

  • Hey Just a question,,, do you think a Kawasaki Ninja like 1995 would be good for a first bike?

  • im having my motorcycle test in a week.what u mean drop down the clutch?

  • jacked from m13 haha

  • where are you anyway iroquois14 like where in the world lol

  • @q7w5e6 Kansas City, MO, USA

  • Bought my 2005 GS500F last November. Delivered on the bed of a truck.... lol, Although, the -20c temp and 2ft of snow may have played a part in that... got it for $3700 and only 5000 KM (3100 miles). Had the dealer replace the break pads and winterize it; included in the $3700. I can't wait for the roads to clear up so i can hit up the nearby parking lot and practice a bit. :D

  • Really Good Vid!!

  • Just brought my first bike, riding it home 60 miles -_- Lol !

  • i know this vid is old but do you still have that bike? that thing is pretty sweet.

  • @02wheels Nah it died.

  • @Iroquois14 it died ? O_o (how)

  • 00:15 Just brought your first bike and probably brought it home on a Truck..OMMFG..LOL... That what I was planning on doing.

  • Thanks! :)

  • im taking my motorcycle licence bout next month, and this lesson sure give me a boost bout riding my bro er6-n. thnx!!

  • What is your opinion on the Verucci dual sports? I think they are also called Lifan.

  • I guess it depends on where you live. If you live in a country where you can buy something other than a Lifan, than Lifan's aren't good. I have heard that they break down really easily and just suck all around.

  • I just need something to get me 5-10 miles to and from work and possibly a longer trip maybe 2-3 times a month, and will sell it or give it to my lil bro after a year when I go off to basic. Do you have any suggestions for a inexpensive bike?($1500-ish)

  • oh yeah sorry. I live in the states.. Miami to be exact

  • I bought the bike I was riding in this video for $1400 through Craigslist. It was a 93 but in good condition. Something like that would be good, I just wouldn't settle for a Lifan unless its an absolute MUST. I have even seem some old Ninja 250's for around $1500. Just check CL.

When you headed off to Basic? I'm going to end up shipping out around fall sometime hopefully.

  • summer of '11 joining AF for Security Forces. I tried CL but everything 1500 or under in miami is a scooter or very poor looking bike... and i will not be seen on a scooter lmao. I'll just keep looking. What MOS and branch have you chosen?

  • Security Forces eh? I was 50/50 with doing that or Army MP... I went with MP because apparently it doesn't suck as much. I might even go infantry... depends on how I feel later this year.

Keep looking on CL, something is bound to turn up.

  • I chose SF cause they are doing more outside-the-wire things now more than MP or MAA (navy equivalent [Master At Arms]) so I'll get law enforcement experience along with a little of infantry/i dunno whatever the patrollers are lmao. Good luck, and thanks for the tips.

I saw ur vid on MW2, and I found that even though people bitch about the M16, FAMAS, and SCAR-H they really are good defenses against camping because usualy the campers have a smg or sniper.

Add me on XBL! - Wille Diet

  • @Iroquois14 Im an army MP and it doesnt suck lol good choice!

  • Is it possible to buy a Suzuki GS500F in London UK?

  • It should be.

  • Ty for the info Iroquois14, a question, what is the name of the bike your riding, looks nice and easy to handle :-)

  • Suzuki GS500F! Awesome little bike.

  • Hi I have a Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i and I wanted to take it out for a spin (for the first time) I put the gear in first and released the clutch and the bike went speeding so fast (so adrelanising) and I crashed why is that it sped off? TY

  • Did you release the clutch quickly while giving it a bunch of gas? If it feels like it will take off, pull the clutch back in.

  • I was giving it gas cos for my bike if you don't rev or something the engine turns off, so I was giving it gas, switched to first gear and dumped the clutch and it went mad (it accelerated very fast) and since I am a newbie I lost control and fell. So why was this? TY

  • Only give it a very small amount of gas to prevent it from dieing when you start to release the clutch. Also, release the clutch VERY slowly, dont dump it.

  • You dont have to, but you need to if you are coming to a complete stop to keep the engine from dieing.

  • It's also because the rpm would be too low for that gear right?

  • What's the engine capacity of the bike on Your vid buddy ? Got a Suzuki DR 125 - it just sounds almost the same :)

  • 500cc. hehe

  • After I wrote my question I have seen another of Your vids, and I read it's Honda with 250cc engine. Did You change something so it's 500cc now ? :)

  • No. The video with the 250 is a 1993 Honda XR250L. My current street bike is a 2004 Suzuki GS500F

  • Ever thought about 600cc or engines with bigger capacity already or it just has enough power ?

  • Yes, of course I would like more power. But at the same time, I am on a limited budget. When I can scrap enough money together, I would like to buy a GSXR750.

  • what are some of the common things u will need to maintain on a bike

  • tire pressure, battery electrolyte levels, lubing the chain every 500 miles, changing the brake pads, clutch cable adjustments, oil changes, new spark plugs, air filter change, brake fluid levels kept filled.... just that kind of stuff. Everything I mentioned here can be learned VERY easily.

  • thanks that will be helpful =]

  • slow down using front brake and stop with your rear brake. if u know what i mean

  • thanks for this vid , it helps alot

could you tell me if we can break with the front brake only without using the rear break "like in sportbikes" or here with this trail you gotta break with the front and the rear ??

    tnkssss

  • You dont have to brake with both at the same time.

  • so the bike can stop easily by breaking with front brake only right ???

    thanksss

  • 70% of the bikes stopping power comes from the front brake. 30% comes from the rear. For everyday use, I would say you need to learn how to use both together.

  • @Iroquois14 thanksss

  • sounds like you're burning up your clutch man. :/

  • What do you mean

  • just sounds you're reving it way to high and letting the clutch out really slow.

  • how do you know when to shift gears

  • It varies by bike, but the general rule of when to up shift is when you get to a higher RPM. You can upshift at any RPM, but shifting at a higher RPM is how most people do it. As for downshifting, dont let your RPM's get so low that your bike lugs. 3-4,000 RPM's is when I usually downshift.

    Any more questions?

  • Extremely helpful. Thanks a ton bro

  • i brought my bike home in a fucking blimp

  • lol are you being serious?

  • no I wish i had access to a blimp lol

then again i wish i really had a bike

  • nice video. very helpful. i hope to get my bike soon. im trying to soak up as much know how before i hit the streets. :)

  • What?

  • next time dude cut the unnecesary tgalk.....videos here take an awful time 2 load so itz really annoying.........others all r gr8 .......xd

  • I agree about the unnecessary talk, this was one of my first ever v-logs. I am going to remake this video soon (this one sucks balls in my opinion)

  • I like unnecessary talk, its like watching tv basically lol.

  • im guessing ur clutch lever is bent

  • thats a 200 or 250 right?

  • Yea it's a 250

  • cool : D nice vids!

  • thanks.. If you have any suggestions for me than just tell me because I have run dry.

  • done any mount vids??? Havent lookt at all your vids, but am getting close : D

Or you can make a fuel vid??? Like going to fill your bike with fuel or somthing??? Sorry for bad english(am Norwegian) xD

I`ll subskribe to you my friend: D

  • I did a fuel up vid (its called Listing of other vloggers or something like that) but I dont explain what i am doing. When I get my GS500 in about a week I will do a gas video for you, explaining all that stuff.

  • Have you been on a mounten or something than???? Yeah, am subskribing now, so I look forward to that : D

  • Sorry I forgot about the fuel up video. :-( I will go make it tonight! Promise!

  • okey bro! : D ill take a look when its on youtube: D

  • that side stand light is cool ; D

  • FUEL COCK!

  • I beg your pardon kind sir?

  • I think he's referring to what you called a fuel lever knob at 1:06

  • lol you can never tell with Kuosion

  • What sort of bike should a beginner like me buy ?

  • Depends. Will you be using it mostly in the city or on interstates?

  • for future reference, the clutch is used as a temporally neutral.

    great tips by the way

  • ah yes, sometimes when it becomes so second nature, you forget to add in little things like that...

  • yeah, its reallly hard to remember everything : D

  • U r very funny but also very helpful thanx for the info!

  • Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it and learned something.

  • is your bike a yamaha DT?

  • Honda XR series

  • do you still have this bike..or u have atoher ones also?

  • i still have this bike, will be upgrading at the end of the summer

  • yay! ur the next mordeth13

  • thnx

  • no problem... if you have any requests... just let me know

  • Hey bro what happens if you come off the accelerator when the clutch is engaged once you are doing say 30mph. Do you have to either give it RPMs or pull in the clutch for the engine not to stall or is it ok once you are moving? Sorry if you can't understand what I'm asking but I can't put it into words very well =(

  • If you are not holding the clutch and you left off the accelerator, you can feel it. That is called engine braking, you will slow down pretty fast (depending on the weight of your bike). Once you are moving, the clutch is only used for changing gears (dont coast with the clutch pulled in at 30mph, a friend of mine did this, and his bike died and he didnt notice. Almost got hit that day) Once you are moving, you dont need to pull in the clutch or give it gas, as long as you aren't going 3 mph.

  • hey nice vids, i just got a bike today, but not in a truck ;) in a large car :P lol and its simular to yours (looks) Honda MTX 125, hope to have it on the road soon but keep up the videos ;)

  • Is it street legal? Have fun and be safe, and thanks for the sub!

  • yeah its street leagal, well needs some TAX and insurance but its got the MOT :)

  • That is a weird looking clutch lever, is it supposed to be curved like that?

  • Yea its the clutch the previous owner "preferred"

  • obviously, it's been down.

  • hahahahaha.........NO! although I did hit some sand today and did a low slide... but seeing as its a dual sport with no fairings... NO DAMAGE! HOOAH!

  • I was talking about the clutch lever.

  • so was I....

  • hey there irquois. how about turning that hooah into an oorah!!! usmc baby!!!

  • haha yea I grew up playing to much America's Army.
