  • So nice to see Ray Drummond.. but that bass looks like a viola on him!! Love his sound, and everyone else on this video.. awesome. Thanks, JVG!!!

  • the best way to download this mp3 from youtube is to google mp3iiify.

  • great version of one my favorite tunes, first heard this on jazzology with bob parlocha

  • Great version of this beautiful tune, I especially appreciated Dado's playing!

  • the song that was played the first 10 minutes icluded an excerpt from the soundtrack of jesuscristh supestar isnt???

  • i wish the bassist had a pickup :( cant hear him properly

  • This is wonderful!

  • quel merveilleux pianiste que Dado Moroni !! et quand il est bien entouré, encore mieux !

  • At least someone with my naaameee!!!!

  • vaya telaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

drummond es un salvaje, jimmy cobb genial, y dado toca el piano como si fuera un juguete

  • Is that a Hohner Toots Mellow Tone?

  • Hendrik Meurkens is an alumni of Gymnasium Blankenese (Hamburg), where the foundation of his roots was layed in the everyday music lessons. Nice to hear you here, Hendrik!

  • Meravigliosi musicisti e grande jazz. Dado sei fortissimo, speriamo di sentirti presto di nuovo di Hendrik Meurkens.

  • I'm really taken with Ray Drummond's tone and feel

  • Listen to those reeds! Nice tone. Reminiscent of Toots. Sehr Gut mein frund.

  • He has a much better jazz blowing technique than Herr Toots, imho.

  • Undoubtedly the best piano solo on this tune I have ever heard.

  • You are absolutely right, all the way back to Freddie's Backlash with the nonetheless excellent Albert Dailey.

  • great sounding band. I love Moroni's playing.

  • Great tune Up Jumped Spring. ~trying to get into the flow but my feed is sporadic~ Jimmy Cobb and Ray Drummond sound tight here. Caught Drummond with Kenny Barron and Ben Riley in St. Louis in April 2006, always a together player. I had not heard Muerkins nor Moroni before now. Solid players to be heard more often for sure.
