Perhaps, but the guy's expectation of love is too perfect and his 'test' so demanding that he was setting himself up for disappointment. Sure he may have told the girl that he'd die for her, but the chance to actually prove that is just so rare; hence it could had only be validated by small proves of his love: those little things that he told his friend to do. Who's she supposed to believe?

@luvmei24 yup! Basically, guy loves girl, guy sends guyfriend to test if girl could fall in love anyone else besides his amazing self... it turned out to be yes and everyone suffers. The plot goes really well with the lyrics I think, their relationship ended up not working out because they were diff ppl to begin with (they both made bad choices in different ways)à

The girl found out at the end which guy loved her the most. The second might have did romantic stuff with her but you know he just sort of threw his money like that. Meanwhile the first guy is fun but didn't do those cute things. its only at the end.... It was too late. thats too sad.. But life is like that.
