@SlasherSaw The tunnel now has a gate, its lower then half way and the gate was destroyed. So half of the gate slants, so you can get threw. But the tunnel is fairly long. The west side you can go threw, as well as the south. For me, those are the only two. But in the middle it cuts off, you can go threw the south side but at the same distance it still cuts off.

We visited the Blue Ghost Tunnel on July 16th, 2011 and we too heard what sounded like a train engine running, and then would stop. We heard it several times. I also heard the strange sound that you were hearing. The Blue Ghost Tunnel is one of the coolest places I have been to and I can't wait to go back!

I don't understand why the word blue is used yet. Does anyone know the history of the tunnel, why it is a "blue ghost" tunnel? Who would be the blue ghost and if it is blue why? A blue ghost isn't commonly heard of unless you research specifically. There is life beyond death, I know very well for certain by experiences.

well me and my buddys were dirtbiking here today and we came across this place. I personally had no idea it was there never actually been down to that spot or even herad about it. but my one friend said he herad about it and that it was haunted and such. so we decided to go in. we walked a decent ways in with prettty much zero light in motocross boots. didnt hear a thing / see a thing we even stopped and were really quiet for a while. just water drips and was pretty cold lol

It looked like the light at the end of the tunnel was from a flashlight from someone at the entrance (or exit) of the other end.( maybe those two girls before you met up with them?)

I am using headphones and I hear a voice. Right after you hear the footsteps and say "whoa", a male voice says "it's alright...come in". At 2:06, a different male voice says "I bet you saw me" and at 2:10 it sounds like a little girl says "help me". Starting at 2:14, I hear the same voice as the one at 2:06. This time he says "you think you can come in now?"! CREEPY

I was there a week ago and you can walk the whole way through, at the end of the tunnel where the water was.. it's now all frozen. Ive been to the tunnel numerous times and nothing strange has ever happened

Shit, I didn't know it would be that close to the NOTL campus! Which direction would I need to go in order to reach the tunnel? I admit, there's a couple others. Also, there's a haunted abandoned house on Niagara Stone Road as you near Thorold. It really creeped me out as I tried to make my way back to the campus from Niagara Falls.

My daughter and I were here last night.....the scariest part of the visit was the descent down to the tunnel as neither of us were wearing proper shoes. Saw another video of the BGT and have now discovered the safer way to get to the entrance. Also there are train tracks near by as we heard several trains while we were down there.

fyi ive been there 6 or 8 times and there is a train that travels over top on a bridge that is just before the tunnel, also there is rain drops falling a lot in the tunnel because it runs under the canal so the pictures are picking up water droplets, the footsteps are real ive heard those

i was there a few weekends ago, we were in the tunnel and this girl just shows up and is like hey is this the blue ghost tunnel? we're just like......yesss..... and she hung out for a while and left. i was like holy shit this girl has balls of steel to come find this thing by herself.

anyway if you like the blue ghost tunnel go check out the haunted barns and house on kirby road, (really close to wonderland) literally the most scared ive ever been in my life

yes you can still go on there, notice the start of the video it has been closed with cement blocks with a door that used to be locked but the lock is never on so its accessible!

if you re-watch the video you will clearly hear that the "help" was heard many minutes after the door was opened. If sound can last that long then i would be still hearing bon jovi on the radio!!!

I have been there many times and I have only heard this help voice 2 times. I cannot bring many people out with me to do evp work because everyone is terrified of this place. I will admit that it is pretty creepy, I think the "women" your hearing is possibly an animal or a cat meowing. Now the light at the end, that's another story. Until you know where it opens up you can't be for sure that it wasn't just the other open end letting in light. Even though it is evident that there is a TON of water down there, you can't be for sure that the whole thing is flooded, there could be possibly homeless folks living there. I am a skeptic Never the less, an awesome video!!!!

Thanks for your response ladydi !! We have seen the other side of the tunnel and the day was really cloudy so we have busted the fact that the sun could of let in that kind of light. It would have to be sunset to get the sun at that angle as the tunnel is low to the ground. It was creepy when I said noticed it because it dissapeared.
