  • I want one! lol

  • rifle at 11:21?

  • I ordered the t22 sport chassis this week thanks to your video. I was going to go with the Nordic chassis but I like Troy unit better and better value overall as well. Will be using the TacSol SBX barrel with this build will be interesting to see how that looks. added a vortex strikefire for optics for now. One qestion I have is how is the optics zero hold up after break down for cleaning since the optics stay with the rail and not the receiver?

    Thanks for the great videos

    John G.

  • Hey nutnfancy I have a x-ring rifle by TacSol, would the t-22 sport chassis work with the xring receiver with its built in rail. Or does the t-22 work only with stock ruger receiver?

  • sorry,i guess the answer is yes!awesome review and video!

  • does the troy system allow for aftermarket trigger systems as well?

  • nutnfancy, have you considered actually looking too lease the rights too your show and up the budget a bit?

i'm sure in this day and age you could actually keep the rights too the show and the vision for the project as well as having it broadcasted too a wider audience.

you have a huge viewer base and it can only grow.

you rock, your reviews are the best.

  • Stop pronouncing it as "chass-IS" it's "Chass-EE"

  • Damn that's nice...thanks for the review. Shame about the hoops I'd have to jump through to get one of these shipped to Canada. I'll probably end up saving some money and alot of headaches by going with a Tapco.

  • DUDE! awesome review, just got a 10-22 and have started turning it into a tactical 22. Very helpful info.

  • So I am a newer subscriber to your channel. Are you here in Utah?

  • could do without the music.

  • that particular 50round mag is pourly polished on inside witch causes jams - needs a loving hand prior to breakin and a generous ammount of lube on first couple of loadups

  • Just bought this same chassis from Troy courtesy of the nutnfancy discount 269.10!! What a fricken deal!! I bought this BEFORE getting the ruger 10/22 !! LOL Thank You sir for the great review and discount!! TnPer for life!!

  • @LeonSORTX Awesome dude, big congrats and that's a good savings. I think their prices in their webstore are fairly reasonable too. Thanks for watching!

  • I watched this video and thought to myself how freakin cool it would be to have this for my 10 22, but I just dont have 300 bucks to drop on it. Now I can get it for 150 bc I won a gift card from Nutn and Troy. AWESOME!!!! HUGE THANKS TO NUTN for all that he does not just the give aways, but for all the info he provides for the gun nuts like us :-)

  • Nutn, what is the intro music on this vid?

  • We need this stock for the mini-14/30

  • What great review, lets see hat T-22 is around $300, the barrel is about $250, the trigger is around $150, the scope is round about $250, add the rifle and a couple BX mags and you are looking at a miniscule $1300. Goodbye house payment hello 10/22.

  • @dibblydooda You know they sell pizza by the slice. You don't have to buy the whole thing just to have a bite.

  • Hey nutnfancy what do you think of the promag archangel stock I would love to get the Troy chassis but I am on a budget so what is your opinion on the archangel kit?

  • @TheChevyman360 I have a hard time warming up to the Archangel. It's 100% polymer and I wonder how tough and lightweight it would be. A good option for cost is the Tapco. I like that one too, have it. It's rail does interfere with a scope mounting though.

  • They should have a LOVE IT!!! button bc im not satisfied with just liking and favoriting this vid. i love 10/22 and most 22 options because they are so cheap to shoot. its great when i go to the range and start shooting my 22s and people always say that they moved up to 5.56 and other stuff and that they let their kids shoot 22s, and then i tell them that i am going to shoot over 1000 rounds for 40 bucks and they stop talking :)

  • ROCKON!

  • Thank you for the review...very cool...

  • same setup as my gun but i have a aimpoint T-1 with surefire scout light i use for training and love it shoot 1,500 rounds a week.

  • "Troy Chassis T-22" = $322, that's insane !

"Ruger Archangel" Chasis = $110 (street price), that's a nice alternative :) Available in black, tan, and green.

    W@lM@rt has a "wood stocked" 10/22 for $ 217.00

You can sell the wood stock on eb@y for like $25+

So you can have a tactical 10/22 for about $300 (base) if you want to.

  • @spystyle lol, price vs function full length rail with how light it is? yeah not going to be easy to find

  • that an elzetta light I see?

  • What song is that in the beginning of this video....it's awesome.....

  • lol you said blow

  • Nutn I really don't care for alot of your vids. The ak and ar vids, the run and gun. But I always enjoy watching your 22 vids.

  • Looks like my tapco outfitted 10/22 is getting a makeover, thanks for the review nutn

  • Hey Nutn, that is one cool looking .22. Like you said, it is a second kind of Cool ! Thanks for doing this video. Gee, it looks like I might have something else to add to my wish list. Awesome vid!!!

  • The gun has my name on it :D

  • you should get a gopro for your shoots. that would be sweet! nice vids, you rock

  • Dude, watching your vid with Bryanisms in the background is like injecting a load of epi directly into my brainstem bro. Rock on!!

  • Great Video Brother, I'm gonna take some time off and come shoot with y'all one day! ~MrSKSkill

  • I'd like you to compare this to the Zimmerman Arms Rezolution 10/22 stock. It seems to be a very nice all metal cheap alternative to this. I picked mine up for $169.

  • Good review

  • it is very cool, but at the end of the day it is still a ruger 1022, a legnedary platform, but......

  • Just curious how the stock receiver and V-block with a standard barrel would hold up without any barrel support. I think the Ruger 10/22 Tactical F/S model (16" threaded barrel ) with this T22 chassis would be a nice set up.

  • Interesting... the stock is more expensive than the rifle.

  • You got me into the tapco intrafuse stock which I love and now your making me buy something else damn you !!!! jk great review loved the intro

  • @nutnfancy, must admit, appears to be very accurate. dumping multiple rounds on target consistently has a lot to be said for a big benefit. a miss with a 223 is a miss.

  • @nutnfancy, so given a $300 troy body, $300 barrel, do you think buying a 10/20 used maybe with a worn out barrel may do the job ? Me thinks you really need a good POS, plinking at the 25 yard indoor, money on the bonfire. doing some run-n-gun and prepping for WROL and maybe to passing off to a family member with couple thousand cheap CCI, probably ok. plus these days, CMMG conversion for your existing AR, got mine $99. it does allow for buying individual parts as money is available though.

  • Fenix

  • Looks like a pretty expensive rig with all that stuff added on. I love that barrel.

  • I have shot both rifles and pistols with my father, but since I will be 18 in 3 months I plan on buying myself a .22 bolt action rifle. Any suggestions?

  • Great review and information put out. Great video and humor, catches my attention. Thanks TNP!

  • Can any fellow TNP's Refer me to previous videos where Nutn talks or reviews a specific 22 conversion kit for the ar platform?

  • My cuz as a ruger 10/22

  • everyone please like this comment so nutn sees it. MAKE A SUPPORT RON PAUL VIDEO HE LOVES AMERICA

  • Great review nutn. The 10/22 is a very lovable gun. I recommend everyone own at least one. A fun and practical gun. Pleasant to shoot and easy on the budget. KEEP ON PREPPING

  • Nice gun. I'm about 2 get the i-tac talo. But this would make for a fun build . Maybe a little at time.

  • I've had a 10/22 with Volquartson Insides and a Kimber Barrel since 97 and love it. What a fun, tack driver thats cheap on the wallet to shoot. CCI Mini Mags work flawlessly to create one ragged holes all day.

  • I'm pretty sure this is one of my favorite videos you've done. I really like shooting rimfire because of the low cost/fun factor. I have to say though, from start to finish, a buildup of this gun could cost $700 bucks. Do you think it's worth the $200 over the Smith and Wesson?

  • This vid does throw me back to the first nutn video I ever watched, 'the ruger 10-22, the Everyman rifle'

    Keep em conning nutn!

    We all appreciate it

  • Wait, that rail costs more than 3 mosins?

    I'll pass

  • no matter what someone asks you to go out and shoot with them you will go out and have a great time doing it!!! you've proven that again and again. thanks for all that you do!!

  • This review rocked Nutn'

  • Nutnfancy 2016!!!

  • Will this Troy T-22 work with the 10/22 I-TAC Talo Special Edition?

  • You and your boys need to go and find some Rimfire Challenge matches near you guys. You'd LOVE it.

  • My God you must spend a small fortune on all of these wonderful toys. I need to get a couple more jobs, but then I wouldn't have any time to play with them. Great gun and knife vids. I didn't realize how many like minded individuals were out there.

  • WOW... TacticalD all over it with the irons!

  • to keep your front sight "night friendly" you could try to move your flashlight farther back. it will illuminate your front sight and make it very VERY to pick up. thats what i do with my 870 express tac, works very well for me(:

  • you got that right brother my tactical ak icost to much to shoot all the time hence the gsg5 and hjopefully soon marlin 60 and ruger 10/22( based off of what you say and proven)

  • Steep competition at that quality level in that it has to be money well spent at that level. However, you have done well to show that it is. Once I have enough to do so I'll look into it, thanks for the review!

  • Thanks for another great review.

  • I'd rather stick with my 15/22 because of ease of use, cleaning and many other things.

  • What's a good weapon for a first time gun owner? From what I've seen I'm probably better off with a .22 rifle.

  • @EvanLovesWhiskey depends on your intended use for the gun. for just learning basic shooitng skills, a .22 rifle and/or pistol would be your best bet: lightweight, low cost ammo, very little recoil. I highly recommend a Ruger 10/22 rifle or 22/45 pistol. Both are very affordable and would be great starter guns. I also recommend getting w/ an instructor or experienced friend who can help teach you safety & marksmanship. Hope that helps!

  • Wow man, no disrespect but I can't stand 10/22's wrapped in all that crap. I say leave the 10/22 alone, buy an M&P 15-22 and save money for ammo.

  • Damn! I absolutely agree with "off the charts second type of cool". I've wanted to get a 15/22, but the 10/22's are just so much fun to play with I'd rather spend the 500 bucks on more toys for that.

  • 480p really??? come on nutn!!

  • I really like the targets that you show as proof of accuracy, and the NOTES that go along with them. I can't imagine just how much work and organization actually goes into your project on a day to day basis, but as I watched this review, I realized and appreciated how you have a ton of data at arm's length. I look forward to your videos for entertainment and education every day, and just want to say thanks Nutn.

  • Freakin' AWESOME bro!! Totally will have one of these in the future. Great shooting Doodle!

I'd love to see this thing duracoated for sure.

  • Nice setup. I'm looking to get a 10-22 and outfit it similarly.

  • Wow, four years!?! Thanks for your dedication and inspiration Nut'n!! Keep up the great work.

  • Nutn, who makes the rifle strap/sling on the table?

  • Yeah the Marlin 39a......pure American legend.....talk about 2nd kind of cool......

  • Unlike BC, neither TI nor Ruger mags will smash if you drop them.

  • I shoot my .22s the most and have some that were pretty expensive: CZ452, CZ453, Win. 9422, Marlin 39A. Totally worth it.

  • wow it looks like theres no recoil

  • Liberty Training rifle? you ever been to an Appleseed? it's a passion of mine and i think a lot of people would benefit from a nutnfancy name drop ;)

  • I am unsure if you military guys know this, but you should roll your palm behind the handle near the trigger... and tuck your arm inward to add pressure against recoil. The only down side to this, is that you need your middle finger to fire because of the positioning. Unless you want to shoot with the tip of your index, its recommended. I also usually prefer keeping eye level above the iron sight for more field of view, that works twice as well... give it a shot... and send me a message...

  • wish they would make something like this in 9mm..

  • Man.. that is so beautiful. Duracoat? Haha

  • The first 2:30 minutes are epic.

  • Damn... that's a sick gun.

  • Do you think the goverment will take our weapons, before sending us to FEMA camps, prior to marching us all to the gas chambers?

  • @rockbay79 Absolutely. Idk about the Gas Chambers... but absolutely. Why would they let us keep a mean to defend ourselves? They want to round us up with minimal effort.

  • Nutn, how do you get your scope mounts on larger rifles not too loosen while firing?

  • @OHwrestlingIO you can use blue loctite

  • Man... my pocketbook is not gonna happy!!

  • You know what I'm waiting for is a CMMG .22 conversion review.

  • @runtimmytimer agreed!

  • @runtimmytimer He had one...but it dissapeared.

  • merry christmas all! can anyone tell me how the sr-22 stacks up to this t-22? sr-22 is availible here in canada, for $500.

  • @Irondog420 oops, should have watched the whole video first;) thanks nutn'!

  • @Irondog420 oops, should have watched the whole video.... thanks nutn'!

  • Hey Nutn' I've had the t-22 for about 5 months now and love it. the only problem i had was with the rear sight. Out of the box the rear sights were way off, and had to be adjusted way right. Almost thought it was a defect. Did you have this same problem? I also have a troy mini 14 MCS stock similar to the T-22. Btw Love your vids dude, spend all kinds of time on your channel. Merry X mass to the whole TNP family.

  • hey nutn u should check out the promag archangel marauder kit its pery cool for a really good value for people not trying to put that much monye in to ther .22 although i agree with u that these products are guna lasat a life time and i think that actuly kinda validates there price points but thanks for the vid keep it up bro

  • How does "TNP Nation" feel about illegal aliens coming into it?

'Shoot to kill' or 'Give me your hungry, your tired, your poor...'

  • @1nvrknws let them show us their butts and I'll tell ya

  • @1nvrknws Keep 'em lubed! 1nvrknws -----> Nice channel title

  • @gay4thugz

Thanks, it's a surprisingly versatile phrase to use as a moto, but it is a knife channel mostly so I resent any other implication :)))

  • Dislikes? Really? Just haters I guess. Ive been a TNPr for years and there is really nothing to dislike unless your jealous.

  • CAN U DO A PINK DURACOAT 4 ME? HOW MUCH?

    PLZ ANSWER

  • @gay4thugz go to mission spec camo it is one of nutn's friends that runs it. from what i hear they are very good.

  • @gay4thugz missionspec camo does some nice duracoat, they also offer pink. check it out

  • Nice shootin doodle!!

  • I need to try those magazines out. "How bout we just make it factory spec and don't dick around with it"

  • Damn I want to build a 10/22..

  • I would rather have a company take a long time to get it right than to put someting out that sucks.

  • Cool song, what is it?

  • Take down and cleaning are not great

  • Yeah buddy!

  • Always a fan of the opening music in these video's.

  • Hey I bought the Clarke trigger and it came with a sticker on it that said not to shoot Stingers with it. Any comments -- I would like to use it with Stingers. I want a better trigger I can shoot anything through and not have to spend $200

  • First and foremost Merry Xmas Nutn, Veri, Allie the mountain dog and the TNP family

Got a question for Nutn and all the rifles experts...I just got my gun permit and am looking at the U.S. Survival Rifle 22LR Semi-Auto AR-7 Henry Repeating Arms for a first rifles for camping, hiking, survival.

soo, points for and points against:

    thanx

  • @robberyrob I own both the Henry ar7 and the Marlin Papoose and I would highly recommend the Marlin over the Henry. Henry can't pack down with a scope and to me wasn't comfortable, also the sights aren't refined enough.

  • Hope the TNP nation had a great holiday. Now that I am out of the academy I am in the market for a tactical .22 to practice the ergonomics of shooting/reloading/moving, etc. Glad to know there are more options but right now either the Colt or the S&W ar-22's are looking to be the best option. Thanks so much for sharing the new data point!

  • troy/tack sol or sig 522?

  • Love the show. Very informative. I may make a steady-cam for TNP however . ;)

  • I would just assume get an ar-15-22 from smith and wesson before you spend the money on all that stuff for a 10-22 so expensive for .22

  • This looks great...some very nice shooting too!

  • Ohhh, that music ^______________^

  • I 100% agree with the fact that you will pay a little more at first but in the long run you will save. Thank you TNP, Happy Holidays!

  • Love the intro music. Where do you find the music you put in your videos?

  • 21 DAYS TIL SHOT SHOW!! GO TNP!!

  • Merry Christmas Nutnfancy, Merry Christmas TNPers! It can't get much better than this. The ultimate 22 ever is now upgraded to insanity. Man I wish I can get one of those next year. Needs Duracoat

  • Great video Nutn...I appreciate your videos so much! Great work

  • Setup makes a 10/22 look pretty sexy. Wish it didn't triple the cost of the gun, or that I had a better job!

  • Looks like the Promag chasis

  • how do u get 300 views and 400 likes right away lolz thats awsme

  • Great review dude!

Thanks for all your hard work.

    Merry Christmas as well. =D

  • "chass-ee" lol maybe it was on purpose

  • the rifle said whats a recoil? lol

  • While the Troy stock looks cool and seems well built. I'd rather stick with the Tapco Interfuse which is 1.5 to 3x less than the Troy one.

Slim form factor and plenty of rail space. Spending upwards of $700 for a tactical 10/22 isn't worth it for me. Not when there is an awesome option for half the price. One could seemingly spend on other important accessories or better yet, ammo.

  • Did I hear Allie barking in the background? Love it!

  • Man Nutn you're killing me! I just bought myself a 10/22 setup for Christmas and you release this vid now? Guess I'll have to save all of my pennies again because that T-22 looks sick! Merry Christmas to you, your family, and everyone in the TNP nation, I hope it was filled with guns, knives, and other "dangerous things"!

  • Very cool lookin 22

  • Has anyone had issues with their BX-25 mags. Took mine apart to clean it and when I was putting it back together the screw for the top part sheared in half. Total surprise to me.

  • Man, that just looks fun!

  • Awesome vid nutn. Keep up the good work!

  • Merry Christmas to you and yours nutn. Some awesome shooting by Tactical Doodle. Watching this video makes me more and more sick of living in the UK :(

  • everyone should own a .22

  • When I watched this video it had 312 views and 318 likes, Nutn' is one of the few people that could pull that off lol

  • Very, very cool vid for Christmas, Nutnfancy! You just gave me a dose of 22 caliber fever!

  • Merry Christmas TNP nation! Stay safe, shoot often!

  • My buddy runs an Eotech on his 10/22. It's amazing how fast you can get it on target and switch between targets with it.

  • Thankyou for the great review. i love my standard 10/22 and been looking into the tac 22 models and havn't been that impressed. this is hands down the way to go.

  • i just got myself a tapco .22 stock

  • you created a whole new wicked animal 22

  • Merry Christmas Nutn! I commented on your channel about a review of the T-22 and its finally here! Best christmas present ever! Keep the videos coming!

  • Just built a 10/22 Charger with a Blackhawk Axiom stock, single point sling and cheap red dot (for now). It rocks!

  • whats with the icky space between the grip and trigger guard?

  • @letterpool If you are not into that gap...check out the polymer tactical stock by Archangel called the Nomad. Its AMAZING!!!

  • Merry Christmas to all TNPer's

  • @Fight2GetPaid Merry Christmas to you too :)

  • Weapon light and light mount review please!!!

  • I almost bought the railed troy platform. But, I went with the tapco T-6 entrafuse system because of the price difference. 85.00 verses 300.00 But I do love the troy! Thanks for the video on the troy platform. Nice work NUTNFANCY!

  • couldnt you just put a rail on top of the regular 10/22 and do a good trigger job/polishing instead of spending a bundle? How far are you realy practicaly going to want to shoot a .22?

  • @Solingen1000 You can't really put a quad rail on a stock 10/22. This stock also adds an adjustable buttstock and pistol grip. While I would never spend that much on my .22, it's cool and it definitely has it's use. I shoot a 30 year old Remington Nylon 66. The real first polymer gun.

  • This is great! Need more project gun money...

  • So....what exactly is the point of TNP? Love your vids...just wondering...

  • Merry Christmas Nutnfancy and the rest of the TNP crew i'm glad Allie is doing better. P.S. Please do a review of a marlin 336 A.K.A the handy rifle i got an older one for Christmas and it is amazing. I think you and your viewers would enjoy it.

  • That Troy gear looks like a really rockin setup Nutn!!!! Now I want one!!!! Damn you!!!!

  • Love the video I have an Archangel stock on mine but use the RUGER Bx-25 Mags and LOVE them!!!! Have you tried the CCI tactical 22LR ammo that comes in the 375 round box yet?

  • My wife hates you ;)
