It's nice to see so many Paiste fans out there! It's also nice to see that everyone has a good sense of humor. That is, in my opinion, one of the things that separates drummers from everyone else. Oh, by the way, Paiste's don't crack any easier than any other cymbal. I've broke cymbals from almost every company (including paiste) but I also have an arsenal of Paiste's that I have had for years that have not broke. FYI.

paiste will crack at the drop of the hat. just try to get the warenty to cover that. hehehehe if i had a rich person to pay for my symbles i would go for pastis, but i dont so i chose zildjian, A AND THE NEW BEAT HIGH HATS ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD hands downe. the A zildjian symbals have never cracked on me and belive me they should have! go for the zildians. they dont crack and embaris you when its a live performance

For awhile I've been a hardcore Paiste fan... But I've recently woke up from the illusion that name brands have significant difference ~ they don't. It's all the same, generally. It's just that good ole corporatism has just about brainwashed us into "thinking" brand-names mean anything about quality.. nope, every company has it's own pyramid system: the shittier, cheaper ones on the bottom; and the rare, "elite", expensive ones at the 'top'.
