Wow I'm amazed to see this early footage posted. Yes we left a lot things on the cutting room floor which was very difficult but we were such a small team we couldn't put in everything we wanted.

We desperately wanted to do a sequel and finish all the ideas but the sales weren't there. For a short while we were working on a port to xbox which was exciting as we had great plans to fix and update many mechanics. Unfortunately it was canceled and never saw the light of day.

its fps/tps and RTS mixed you play one player can change your view from third person to first person like tribes 2 and you can build your base like command and conquer or warcraft3 you know you can also fly as a mecc with a helicopter with 3 person or as a reaper(this woman) with a motorcycle its really cool but very old

Hamachi is a LAN-Interface to emulate a LAN over the Internet... the contra is, that it's veeeery slow...u need to have a 16.000 connection for most games...

First make a server, than let your friends join your hamachi server/IP and that is your virtual LAN.

Now you can play LAN-Games over the internet

This version of Giants is a lot cooler. Kabuto seems to be more monstruos and doing diferent moves. We have to ask to the creators the reason of this big change, if they are not dead...

The game has not been fully developed cause the producer had shorten the time to make the game and it was released unfinished so you see its not the devs fault its the producers

The original creators didn't put all of this in for what ever reason, I have no clue. Kabuto is not bigger in here, only the camera angles make him look big. The rock golem is the vimp herdsman obviously, Theres' not going to be any new game that has the name ''Giants'' anywhere in it because the Giants 2 project(not really even started) will never become reality.

IMO most features are actually in the game, aside from those weird monsters and the airplane.

I think its the most innovative game I ever played with 3 races more different than day and night and an amazing set of features. However, just like the B&W series its lacking some basics and never got popular :(

Indeed, when the Giants developers were interested in making an add-on Interplay (the publisher) told them they'd get just four weeks for making it. I doubt there'll be a Giants 2 as (1) Giants (albeit being a good game) sold poorly and (2) Interplay (as a publisher) is dead.

The game "Armed and dangerous" by the same developers seems to share some code and ideas (i.e. enemy AI is very similar) but besides that it's a completely different game.
