No I'm not one of the "greenies" ! they are idiots who are only casing chaos and weakening the country. I don't think they'll get anywhere this way.
Islam IS beautiful , no doubt about that. But the Islam that has been forced on people has repulsed them. You can't force people to believe...the percentage of REAL believers in Iran, in my opinion, was a great deal more before the Islamic Republic.
Nobody is forcing them to believe in anything. They can be atheists, Christians, fire worshipers, they even have their churches and temples all over Iran.
Only thing which is obligated for them is hijab (the scarf for women), thats all. That prevents raping and sexual harrasment and gives the women respect they deserve, because in Iran they don't use women in the name of "art" and "show business".
In Iran you are free to believe whatever you want but you cant preach evil.
@OneUmmahFisebilillah In Iran you are free to believe in anything, but you can never express it or discuss it. Is that freedom? Mr. Fair man Is hejab to prevent rape and sexual harassment? So why is there so much rape and harassment already. You better ask your mulla that, cause I do not think you can decide by your own will. You should imitate everything from a Mulla for the rest of your ignorant life. and that is unfortunately your destiny.
islam might have a place in iran. islamism has no right to be there.
