Most cars are fine as long as you maintaince the transfer case,diff,tranny fluid every 10,000 miles.most people only change engine oil and never change tranny or diff oil.that's when shit breaks.
Simplify what??? Dude, nothing can beat a land rover, and if you can, then do it! No land rover owner is gonna shit him self if he is stuck in mud, he is gonna try til he gets out!!
put more shit on it so you can have EVEN more repairs... can't they simplfy? dont they know there's a HUGE customer base with ALOT of money who want a good strong dependable 4x4 thats simple... kinda like the old days? These people just keep adding shit where even the LR mechanics have a hard time on some shit.... if i could only tell'em one word... simplify
SO agree with you, I dont even have a driverslicens yet, not because of lack of age but a trubblesome life, simply havent had the money... anyway, I'd like to see a car like this that I know will work in 50 years, and not be obsolete because some computer is stone dead. I love modern cars and technoligy but not in a 4x4... in the jungle one would rather have something simple you can manage with your toothbrush and your underwear.. :P lol
@murwaz i think a simple car would be the jeep wrangler unlimited...its simple and no electronics to break. the bad point is that u cant compare it to the Land Rover in terms of luxury and ride quality!!
my question is how reliable is this LR4 ? do they have lots of problems?
@darkdawn01 i think the LR3 had a few problems with the reliablity but our LR4 seems to be pretty solid! the interior and engine certainly are at least, so happy with it

You want a simply model.. buy a Defender. The D4 is luxury with offroad options. This is a brilliant car and the 3L Diesel is a weapon!
