But I got to a stage where people were saying my drumming was excellent. But I gave up being a musician for personal reasons. Practice, you will get better. When you get to my age if you don't persist with everything you do, you fucking kill yourself. But don't do that either. Persist and practice.

I play a lot of Tiersen's songs because I'm a huge fan of him, and I just heard about this guy. I know what you're saying, Tiersen has a complexity that Ludovico hasn't, but that doesn't mean Yann is better because they are different styles. Besides, I notice that Ludovico has a lot of feelings in his music, even more than Yann. I still prefer Tiersen, but I'm sure this guy could reach him at any moment.

What I'm sure is that now I'll try to learn from both of them.

@rptjuh However, movie soundtracks despite their awesomeness, takes away from the original greatness of a music itself. Not to say there isn't a place for program music, but music at its purest form is absolute music (ie. music for its own sake). It's why Beethoven couldn't do operas well, and it's why the use of his music in movies has cheapened some of his best works (I mean come on, the 5th is used way too often in movies).
