This guy is all show. He never spars in front of a camera because he knows that his moves are just that. A real fighter has to commit to some combat to feel the pain. Bruce Lee was much more hard core, but even he was questioned by american kick boxers like Benny the Jet who was a world champion ten times over.
@clearcombat apparently u are also questioning Tony Jaa like Benny but no one knows if he take someone down it just depends on how much training he does and how long he can on his own...but that is just me...
@clearcombat well Tony Jaa also trained in muay boran for many years and so we both are questioning both fighters by this argument so lets just say that they are both good at whatever and not just question everything that we think is wrong

I don't really like Jaa. He has good acrobatics but most of the moves he displays wouldn't work in a real street fight. He should be showing real life situational moves. The way he portrays his style is also kind of traditional and limited. He should loosen up and not be bound by styles.
well I've seen him do a short demo on real life situations which would work very well. But when people are going around saying hes the next Bruce Lee...he's far from Bruce. Bruce's capabilities dominate the practicality of fighting. People are saying that he's the best fighter these days but In my opinion thats Tommy Carruthers. What I see about Jaa is that he lacks speed and he's going to come to the point where being in front of the cameras will overtake his love of Martial Arts.
@welcometoneo yes you can if your really good.. my father is an example. when he was in his early 30s he got jumped by 12 people... all 12 got a beating but he also got beat up. i know this because i was there.
i made a tony jaa video too. check my channel! if tony jaa comes to US to do a movie, he should do the fight scene wit Marrese Crump. that would be amazing!

As good as he may be he basically only especializes in Muay Thai. A style in which you realse anger in short moment. IT's a style where mostly every move consist of one breaking something. It is one of the most brutal styles. I not sure but i think it originated in Korea. Bruce owned any present time martial artist though.
Wow. You really don't know much about martial arts other than old kung-fu movies, do you? Muay Thai originated in THAILAND! Thus the THAI part! And he may own "any present time martial artist though" but Krav Maga owns him.
Wow you really don't know about asian history. The people of siam ( before they where called thai's) originally came from china. They had enough of the imperial regime during the tong dynasty and left for an uninhabited island where they started their own culture in the 12th century
You don't either, this guy says he thinks it originated in Korea, that's because he knows Thailand only gave home to it and made it bigger with their style, but the real origin is in fact in Korea.

TO ALL MARTIAL ARTS WHEN IT COMES TO COMPARISONS, THE ONLY MASTER TO DO AL MARTIAL ARTS TECHNICS WAS BRUCE LEE HE IS A LEGEND, AND THE BEST AT EVERY MOVEMENT, EXCEPT FOR THIS GUY TONY JAA, REMINDS ME ALOT OF BRUCE. BECAUSE HE IS DEDICATED AND HAS HEART FOR WHAT HE DOES. THATS WHAT BRUCE LEE HAD. AND PROBABLY BRUCE COULD MASTER THAI EVEN BETTER. BUT KNOW IS JAA'S TIME AND JAA IS LIKE BRUCE LEE NOT A SEEL OUT LIKE JET AND JACKIE BOTH OF THESE GUYS ARE FAKE ON THEIR STUNTS, THE USE WIRES.jaandlee#1
Bruce wasn't a master of anything, he went beyond any martial arts their were before, he broke down the barriers of techniques, made his own martial art and his own techniques, Tony Jaa isn't anything on Bruce Lee, Bruce Lee was a fighter from the beginning, TOny Jaa is basically just an artist (body art).
bruce lee was undoubtedly one of the best martial artist ever. unfortunately he died at the age of 30. tony jaa is also freakin crazy right now i don't believe he is better then bruce lee yet. anyways tony still has many years ahead to improve and there is a huge chance he will get better than bruce lee.
no habra nadie como el rey de las artes marciales el unico los de mas son falsos solo uno el mejor el y remplasable rey de las artes marciales BRUCE LEE
some people say bruce lee is the best they say it because lee was the first one who did kung fu fighting in his movies. I think tony jaa and jackie chan are the best at the second place is bruce lee and Jet Li is a sucker jet li can nothing :D
actually jet li is better then jackie coz jet li takes it mroe seriously and jackie does like comedy films and that while jet does more hardcore films
u are lacking in information. do u have any idea of the vital stats of bruce lee? hahaha. He can really kill in one punce and he can do it in .4 second time. and thats no exag or anything its a fact. go research on bruce lee then compare with jackie or tony or jet.
bah. tony jaa rocks. its why i viewed this vid in the first place. he should soon be an international star like jet and jackie.
i know. but the results of the combinations are great right? i mean, muay thai dont have no spinning kicks man. and well. flips and all that are necessary for a great action movie. wahehe. ur right though. ur still right man.
Heh, you can't spell 'manslaughter' without 'laughter' ;).
But everyone is a fucking pussy nowadays, they don't wanna settle things diplomatically, or even fighting, they just pop out a Beretta and kill people. Which is pretty stupid

bruce lee was undoubtedly one of the best martial artist ever. unfortunately he died at the age of 30. tony jaa is also freakin crazy right now i don't believe he is better then bruce lee yet. anyways tony still has many years ahead to improve and there is a huge chance he will get better than bruce lee.

geminiexiliado 3 years ago 3
some people say bruce lee is the best they say it because lee was the first one who did kung fu fighting in his movies. I think tony jaa and jackie chan are the best at the second place is bruce lee and Jet Li is a sucker jet li can nothing :D
thaMBD2Ms 3 years ago
actually jet li is better then jackie coz jet li takes it mroe seriously and jackie does like comedy films and that while jet does more hardcore films
demonhead33 3 years ago
u are lacking in information. do u have any idea of the vital stats of bruce lee? hahaha. He can really kill in one punce and he can do it in .4 second time. and thats no exag or anything its a fact. go research on bruce lee then compare with jackie or tony or jet.
bah. tony jaa rocks. its why i viewed this vid in the first place. he should soon be an international star like jet and jackie.
jedi098765 3 years ago

Before Tony Jaa, nobody practice muay thai would add Tricking movements into their pattern. Now I see everybody doing it = (
Can people be more original ???
action522008 3 years ago
i know. but the results of the combinations are great right? i mean, muay thai dont have no spinning kicks man. and well. flips and all that are necessary for a great action movie. wahehe. ur right though. ur still right man.
jedi098765 3 years ago 2
I love Jaa he got me into Muay Thai but I'm really suprised he didn't keep his toes down during that demo.

Heh, you can't spell 'manslaughter' without 'laughter' ;).
But everyone is a fucking pussy nowadays, they don't wanna settle things diplomatically, or even fighting, they just pop out a Beretta and kill people. Which is pretty stupid
