She's probably supposed to be older in this picture. Maybe she's 16 and uses a Cross Trainer.
But many 13/14 year old girls do have very mature looking bodies, though. The first time I EVER saw a girl who was 14/15 and looked like she was 10/11 was when I visited France.
Must have to do with blood/diet. Years ago I was with my older sister(she was 22 and I was 14) the guy who welcomed us into his house gave me wine and my sister orange juice lol Guys usually judge physical appearance.
cause i wanted to know, i an artist also, I have many styles and i like to communicate with other artist, if you knew me well, you'd know I'm here for network. I'm not an arrogant artist. but what do you mean by fap.. ?.
I agree, it's good but it was really nice around 2/3 of the way through. Awesome coloring though, you really got the highlights on the suit down. Also, who the hell flagged this? That's stupid.
When you change the settings for the Brush tool it also changes for the Pentool, what ever you set in Brush auto sets in Pen..! Sorry if I didnt make it clear 1st time. I do a lot of PS work also, and use it almost every day. You tried Adobe after Effects yet WOOHOO awsome piece of software. lol anyway I'm sure you will have it all sorted by now. Best of luck
I can tell that you're using the pen tool, but how are you making the color transitions so soft? Everytime I use the pen tool in Photoshop, it results in harsh-edged vector layers.
I'm talking about when he's using the pen tool. There is no flow or opacity for the pen tool that I can see. He's seemingly got smooth transitions just using the pen tool somehow. You're right though as far as using that Flow and Opacity for the paintbrush. It works quite well :)
Wao... How many layers did it take? Ur work is awesome! Im still working Corel painter and its a hell of a lot of work to pin point the details... But still, very nice Asuka work. Looks profesional :D It would take me weeks to do that in Corel painter but this semester semester im taking Photoshop.Yay :D
Wow...pretty much speechless here, haha. I managed to see that you used the pen tool...must have been hell to click all those points and convert them afterwards. I'm going to use this as reference for a drawing I have yet to ink. Thanks for sharing this! And off I go to your site :ninjapoof:.
This is amzing! you are to good at this :P Could U please post a tutorial on how you did this kinda of work? I would like that very much. But ether way this is worth every one of those 5 starts and more keep up the great work ;)
aren't asuka's breasts a little less round from her plug suit...though the image kinda looks like her breast is exposed...oh well.....i do prefer her with red hair though....is it easier to color her blonde?...just asking...
Great dude, tho I think that in the colorings I've seen from you you fade the original drawing, the center, Asuka, too much with the backround bloom. Or whatever, I don't draw so I don't have the terms, but I can say that I would have wanted more of them sexy legs visible.
Your highlights are simply amazing, I can't do great highlights, I love how detailed you are as well, adding the extra color of light from the background and other items. What tool is it that you are using? Your work is awesome keep it up!^^
this is such an awesome tutorial and your attention to detail is amazing~! i think that's pretty darn smart to make an action in the selection process.... so you just pen tool the selection and you have an action that makes it a mask?
I love the way you work! But I have a question. Are you adding a layers mask to your action? Why would you need a layer mask? Don't you just paint straight on when you have the marching ants?
Artofphn,Great work indeed! The method you use is very unique and enthralling,I am curious how you turn the pen path straightaway to selection path, care to share the secret?
Sure thing! It's no real secret. I made an action for the selection process, so that all I have to do is make the selection and press a button. You can look up Photoshop Actions in google and make your Photoshopping much more easy and convenient.
Man, this is awesome. I'm still doing all the coloring stuff by hand, which of course wil never result in anything comparable to this (except if you're some kind of Rembrand or wha'ever). Anyways, this is great work.
what brush do you use when you see those lines lagging behind your pointer. it looks almost like the magic wand tool but it seems to work like a brush.
btw im in awe at your coloring ability. its amazing.
How do you mask your art with the purple thing? Everyone always says "be sure to mask your drawing so you don't miss any bits when you colour!" but I can't figure out how! Also how did you get that sort of "taking away/highlighting" effect when you were colouring instead of just pouring on straight colour??? :) Well done!
To make a mask, first create a layer under your line work (set the linework layer blending option to multiply). Then based on what piece of the drawing you want to color, color over that area, paying close attention to cover the full area but not go over into other areas. If you actually inked the drawing you can just use the magic wand and tool. Then make a layer over that (you will do the actually painting and shading on this layer) and right click on it and select, "clipping mask".
It would be great to see some of your techniques in more detail. I'd like to know what tool settings you use for different tasks, how do you manage layers etc. I'm sure you know a lot of tricks that you could share with us.
Probably anything that you see as important and interesting in your work is in fact important and interesting. Especially for rookies like me ;)
imo manga isn't supposed to be coloured like western comics
nice work though

Have you tried changing your Flow and Opacity ?
Set your Flow to about 10% and Opacity to about 30% see if that helps at all, should give a nice smooth transition..
