@codedogs341 Yeah, you can. You can just fall off levels or get hit too many times by monsters. It was a game meant for all ages though so it is pretty hard to die.

My god. These "heroes" are evil! They just abandon a completely normal, unarmed, powerless KID to fend for himself while they go do something before getting caught. That is so stupid! If your character could talk, I think he would say "Do it your damn self!"
