I heard the game was nothing but boring quick time event button bashing. Like saifaly95 said better stick to the movie, unless you like mashing buttons in the right sequence.
Finally they are making an actual Jurassic Park game, not one of those side storys. And what I think is cool is it is not an all out shooter game, you have to actually survive without any weapons, which I think will add to the excitement of the story. And plus is it takes place on the actual first Island of the movie which is pretty cool. Is it on Xbox 360? or just on PC?
It's cool and all, but I want to see another operation genesis! The game was PERFECT! If the just updated graphics and dinosaur movements, it would make a phenomenal game!
There's a difference between graphics and art style, people. TellTale games have specific cartoony art styles, which make them unique. If a game is trying to look realistic and not cartoony, then that's bad graphics. Team Fortress 2 has a cartoony art style. You saying those graphics are bad? There's ignorance, and then there's being a pudwhisperer.
This game looks ok. I'll still give it a try. I strongly feel that for it being Jurassic Park, it needs to have badass graphics and a great story that makes sense. Along with scary heartpounding situations and action. Maybe Rockstar Games needs to jump in and do a flawless Jurassic Park Game. I bet they will kill all the other JP games like the boss they are. LOL
I see people complaining about the graphics, but this video is 7 months old and the game is released on the 15th...surely this must've been alpha or beta footage?

Also nothing says that the Spino can't defeat a T-Tex...the odds are balanced... If T-Tex manages to grab the Spino with his superpowerful jaws, he'll kill him easily. But the Spino is bigger and faster. And as you may notice in the third movie the Spino didn't win because he was stronger(since he isn't) but because he luckily managed to break T-Rex's neck.

@wintersnoob the odds were never balanced t.rex had a 3 dimensional vision and binocular vision. where as to spinosaurus typical eye position pointed at the sides,and t.rex was faster.and spinosaurus would not snap a t.rex's neck most images (theories) on what spinosaurus looked like showed the snout reached towards longer rather than the claws. and large theropods fight eachother head on not the neck. they would bite eachothers snout, where as to spinosaurus has a less bone density in the snout

But in the movies the T-Rex could see them when they didn't move. They said it couldn't but the T-Rex pushed them when Alan Grant stopped moving in the first movie.
I for one am glad it's not a dinosaur shooting game. When has Jurassic Park (the books or the films) ever been about shooting and killing dinosaurs? Never. It's always been about survival and that's why I'm pretty excited about this game.

My friend had been looking forward to downloading the Back to the Future game off PSN almost a year ago. Although they kept the rpg acute to the storyline, I'm pretty sure he had to smoke 2 z's of weed just to get through it. (lol)

@XboxAnnihilator press F, it lowers the render distance. its creating the entire map while you're playing thats why, just lower the render distance and it should work smoothly
@luckynumero The graphics are like this because this is an adventure game and adventure games tend to have medium graphics due to the lack of a lot of adventure gamers. So they have to be sure that it will play smoothly on older PCs because they cannot afford to lose sales due to this. It's not like there are millions of players out there that like adventure games.

@ZaCkOX900 I guess TellTale are trying to revolutionise Adventure Games so it can be appealing to non AG players. The console thing? Maybe they are making it for the PC and converting it to other consoles. And plus TellTale are more adept to making cartoon style graphics (CSI was part TellTale part Ubisoft so I don't count that, plus that had shitty graphics too). This doesn't make the fact that it looks old disappear. This is why they should stick to Monkey Island, Sam & Max and similar titles.
Yes, Steven Spielberg confirmed it at this years Conic Con in July... He said that Jurassic park 4 will be coming in the next 2 or 3 years an they have a writer an a proposed script.. Universal has confirmed it will probably happen this time an that they hope to have the film out by 2013.. Nothing is set in stone but Jurassic park 4 is finally moving forward
I will admit they have the right direction of not making this an FPS.....too many games are FPS as it is. Plus if it was it would stray in the direction of seeing the dinosaurs as monsters and not living creatures as even the movie developers meant for them to be. I can honestly say seeing a few of the action scene previews from various trailers even got me on the edge of my seat.

I for one am glad it's not a dinosaur shooting game. When has Jurassic Park (the books or the films) ever been about shooting and killing dinosaurs? Never. It's always been about survival and that's why I'm pretty excited about this game.

@luckynumero I know what you mean. Many people think that graphics aren't what makes a game fun. But graphics show just how much effort was put into making the game. The shittier the graphics, the less effort was made, the less fun it is.

@XboxAnnihilator Excactly, shows how dedicated the company/developers are towards the project; that it isnt just another throw together to make a couple quick bucks. My friend had been looking forward to downloading the Back to the Future game off PSN almost a year ago. Sad to say it had the worst graphics I've seen since some of the first games that came out for PS2. Although they kept the rpg acute to the storyline, I'm pretty sure he had to smoke 2 z's of weed just to get through it. (lol)

@XboxAnnihilator have you ever played the game? its not the graphics, its the addiction! its so fun and entertraining. besides, notch (the guy who makes it) has been making it for 3-4 years now, the graphics are staying like that, like forever. graphics don't necessarily have to be realistic nowadays, thats just some stupid stereotype :/

@XboxAnnihilator press F, it lowers the render distance. its creating the entire map while you're playing thats why, just lower the render distance and it should work smoothly

@luckynumero The graphics are like this because this is an adventure game and adventure games tend to have medium graphics due to the lack of a lot of adventure gamers. So they have to be sure that it will play smoothly on older PCs because they cannot afford to lose sales due to this. It's not like there are millions of players out there that like adventure games.

@ZaCkOX900 I guess TellTale are trying to revolutionise Adventure Games so it can be appealing to non AG players. The console thing? Maybe they are making it for the PC and converting it to other consoles. And plus TellTale are more adept to making cartoon style graphics (CSI was part TellTale part Ubisoft so I don't count that, plus that had shitty graphics too). This doesn't make the fact that it looks old disappear. This is why they should stick to Monkey Island, Sam & Max and similar titles.

Yes, Steven Spielberg confirmed it at this years Conic Con in July... He said that Jurassic park 4 will be coming in the next 2 or 3 years an they have a writer an a proposed script.. Universal has confirmed it will probably happen this time an that they hope to have the film out by 2013.. Nothing is set in stone but Jurassic park 4 is finally moving forward

I will admit they have the right direction of not making this an FPS.....too many games are FPS as it is. Plus if it was it would stray in the direction of seeing the dinosaurs as monsters and not living creatures as even the movie developers meant for them to be. I can honestly say seeing a few of the action scene previews from various trailers even got me on the edge of my seat.
