Nahhh, its better if you train without gloves. Your hands will eventually grow calluses after training hard and those will become your gloves. Trust me you'll hands will get allot tougher and stronger. Thats why sometimes I train barefoot, if done properly it'll make your feet and ankles stronger.

Lots of buildings in china have glass around the walls. Gloves aren't always necessary, but are a good precaution.
