Great band but NIAGARA was and IS a fraud! Ron Asheton and Mike Davis (Stooges & MC5) had this thing banging and then Ron decided he wanted to screw Niagara so he put her in the band and ruined it! Do you really think the guitarist for Iggy and the Bass Player for the MC5 need a girl who was tone deaf to front them?! When they took her to play the UK the NME said "NIAGARA FAILS!" - Love that headline!

They came and played CBGB's in 1979 Pat Ivers Vidieo taped them for her show "NIghtclubbing"...the show started out with footage played under Iggy's tune from the idiot...So Debra Thorsen with her austrailian accent intoned; "On tonights nightclubbing we have 'Destroy all monsters Featuring 'Niagra..be warned........" She  sang I wanna be your dog....when it came to the 'CMON part she'd sing 'WHY NOT!?'
