Ralph isn't running this time. There's Jill Stein this time around if you're a progressive and you want to vote your conscience. Very similar to Ralph, and much more ambitious relative to the Greens in 2008 (David Cobb). We need a 3rd party (not libertarian lol), there's enough right-wingers in the Democratic Party. The Green Party is a perfect candidate. They've recently officially expanded their platform way beyond environmental concerns, and have developed a spark of ambition recently.
@RationalistViewpoint well i don't know how anyone person can live off min. wage, i apply all the time at best i get maybe a 20 part time job, but it's damn near impossible to get a second one. at least here in the u.s. what is the difference between public sector and private sector? like government work?
@RationalistViewpoint some good points you make, as far as minimum wage i've heard from some people that they want it to go up to 9.50/hour. now, i know for a fact, a bunch of people i know young and old, that the older ones, they're talking about getting a reduced pension, if not eventually none...and they're capping pay limits, so eventually the workers that have been there awhile will only make slightly more then new people. that's wrong. also when min. wage goes up, so does everything else.
@RationalistViewpoint thats a good point, if we could just at Audit the Fed, then we could get a better idea as to where our trillions of dollars went and on what. I'd love to bring back something similar to a Gold Standard but I don't know what the machinery of that would look like. I like the consumption tax idea and a flat tax of 7percent across the board of social strata;etc, pull the troops back home put them on the mexican border. set up a better grant system for the states for works.
@TheSwissRepublic Yes, Yes it is. 98+% of scientists agree its real. Watching UN-scientific vids on youtube doesnt make you a expert, in fact, its make you look pretty dumb.
@two0sixTay I'm going to go ahead and say that I know a lot more than you, kiddo. Liberal hacks are people like Donna Brazile and James Carville, who have been stridently anti-Nader for calling out their corporatist tendencies. Nader isn't actually a liberal, except in the most naive sense. He's a progressive socialist and muckraker, and I hope he carves the shit out of George W. Obama's votes in 2012. I'll be in the streets for him if he runs.
If this guy runs, I'll probably vote for him. If not, I'd probably write him in anyway. I'm sick and damn tired of the lesser of 2 evils bullshit. I didn't do it in 2008, and given my libertarian mindset in '04, I wasn't gonna do it then if I could've voted.
If Americans keep voting for the lesser of 2 evils INSTEAD OF thinking outside the box, we'll NEVER rebuild this nation! You DO know that there are far more than 2 parties in this country, right? I'd like to meet someone who ACTUALLY thinks there are only 2 political parties here and smack him upside the head for being so dumb and then tell him about the others.
Talkietoaster2 is a huge moron : In 2010 the Dems took the advantage they had (both Houses of Congress and the White House) and ? They Bailed out the banks, passed a stimulus bill loaded with Tax cuts, couldn't get trials for terrorists, couldn't even hold a vote to repeal the Bush Tax Cuts, and passed an unpopular mandate on people to force them to buy insurance to the point that people in Massachusetts got TARP and the Stimulus package mixed up - and THEY DID IT ALL WITHOUT NADER RUNNING.
@ratsnacage1 What's to love about it? It's a piece of shit empire with nothing going for it but it's bloated military complex, now largely sans the industrial component thanks to Nixon-Kissinger & some 40 years of selling out to China. Fuck Amerika. It's nothing. It's a shitstain on the globe now. It didn't have to be that way, but now you're stuck. It could and should have been a really nice place to live. Now I only wish I had money to escape.
@sparkyj99 Yeah, boatloads of morons and migrants running away from cannibal drug cartels. What a great example. Right back at ya, useless eater. You deserve it, mindless Amerikan. I bet you love chanting "USA!USA!USA!" like a gibbering Goddamned monkey. It's more like "Gooble Gobble! One of us!" Another chump loser in the empire of scum. MOO-rah!
@HyperIndividualist ~~> And all the Europeans, Russians, Finns, Aisians... Whos lining up... All of them... And if you an't here I'm sure you'd be on the next boat waiving your chineese made American flag if WE opened the boarders...
@sparkyj99 Bailing from one turd going down the drain in order to leap onto another one doesn't impress me. It doesn't prove anything about Amerika. It does show what gullible dopes a lot of foreigners are. It does prove how desperate many nations are to ditch as much of their surplus labor as possible, to say nothing of Chinese and other spies infiltrating. People are stupid everywhere. Earth is just one big homogenized hellhole anyway thanks to globalization (an idea sponsored by Amerika).
@sparkyj99 Hey Sparky, you need to go to your own playlist and watch that George Carlin clip. Watch it a hundred times if you have to. Let that man's message sink in. Then ask yourself what kind of nation of dumbass losers would permit that state of affairs? The only answer is one that deserves what it gets.
@HyperIndividualist ~~> What a tard... That video is there for a reason and its because I know the meaning... The population has been dumbed down by design... And if you know anything about Our history WE put the revolt in revolution...
@sparkyj99 That was in 1776. It's been bred out of Amerikans. They're now electrochemically lobotomized labrats. The mere existence of something like the TSA proves Amerikans will put up with anything. The spirit of '76 would have risen up to crush the TSA day one. Instead Amerikans blithely submit to their children being groped and porno-scanned by state sanctioned perverts. That Amerikans didn't do anything ages ago proves that they're pathologically incapable of being free. They love slavery.
@HyperIndividualist ~~> Where are you that you don't see the people in the streets?? Conservitive Americans begged the TSA to groap thier kids... And I flew last week & it is not the big shit they make it to be... There were always scanners... And don't go all Orwell We were always at war bat crazy on me for that... The baby is waking & it is not too late... But you talk shit from afar... I am free... There is no gun to my head or piece of paper dictating my life...
@sparkyj99 You're delusional. They scan your naked body into a database. They grope your children. No self respecting human being would put up with that. Only a subhuman masochist bitch slave would tolerate it. Obama continues all of Bush's policies, and yet you still idiotically bash conservatives. Here's a news flash left=right, democrat=republican, liberal=conservative. Those are all meaningless bullshit labels - the "illusion of choice". & yes, we're beyond Orwell's 1984. It's much worse.
@HyperIndividualist ~~> Yes, I use those labels because that is how it is in the states... I am under no illusion that there is a major difference between the 2 but if I am going to use my vote I will use it for the guy who offers what is in my best intrests... Conservitivism is a disease... They have shows about it, they call it hoarding... My tax dollars should be spent on my Country's Wellfare... Not corporate welfare... Like I said, Conservitives begged to be protected from the boogyman
@sparkyj99 Such a dreamer. You're going to reform the government. You're going to install honest, principled, selfless altruists to manage the Country's Welfare with taxes. What a hoot.Taxation=Theft. Government=Parasitism. It works the way it was designed to.Government exists to aggrandize the few at the expense of the many,& it works like a charm-always has, always will.Your utopia has never existed and never will. How can government save you from the very corporations it incorporated to begin with?!
@HyperIndividualist ~~> Corps were only allowed to do business by charter at one time... Yes, congress is corrupt... So maybe WE should lay down and submit to the red white & blue dick right?? Or maybe just turn into to China... We'll have jobs and be allowed to have a child & can live inside the company we work for... Yeah, and you said Americans were lame...
@sparkyj99 You're living in the past. Corps are Super People now thanks to precious Uncle Sham. Amerikans don't really want to change anything. They're jagoffs. So they'll keep voting for their own enslavement. There's no hope & no future for the poor dumb slobs. Yep, time to learn Mandarin. I didn't make the rules. I didn't make this shitstorm.
There are solutions, but they remain unmentionable for obvious reasons. What can I say? It's just too bad Amerikans are gutless swine.
@HyperIndividualist ~~> That wasn't uncle sam that was the devil & hist court jesters dancing on their propaganda machine... But you see it how you will... And to your gutless swine comment, I'll say it again... Fcuk You Buddy...
@sparkyj99 You mean the Supreme Court isn't part of the government? What a novel view you have. And "fcuk you" too.
Listen, since you're so into utopian fantasies and think money qua money is a myth, I suggest you join the Venus Project at once. I get the feeling you're either relatively young or verging on senile.
@HyperIndividualist ~~> Couldn't I be young and senile?? The Venus guy creeps me out... You can try and pin a label on me that is fine... I give you some help... I am for the working man, Constitutional Rights, real journalism, social services, regulations, green tech, and rainbows & teddy bears... And much more... I am the revolution... But I am also a realist... You can't just pick up and leave a war... And the economy doesn't flip over night... STOP THE CORPORATOCRACY
@veksink Anti-Federalists got it right. I'm partial to the Articles of Confederation, which were good enough to defeat the largest empire the world had known up to that point. It's a moot point. Both are just rotting scraps of parchment in the national archives. The constitution does say that the law must be uniform, & taxes based on the census, which rules out progressive taxes. For the law to be uniform, each $ would have to be treated equally (& made of gold/silver).The nation thrived w/o IRS
@sparkyj99 You just push the question back.Obviously Amerikans have deliberately been dumbed down, but why did they allow the process to begin? Why didn't they see it for what it was right way? What was in Amerikans that allowed them to be deliberately dumbed down? What was in their nature that permitted it to succeed? Why didn't they stop it from coming to fruition? It's because they deserve it.They were fatally flawed to begin with, otherwise such exploitation would've been doomed from the start.
@HyperIndividualist ~~> WTF?? We didn't have the internet till the 80's are you serious?? This is a country not some piss ass provience... It was the lack of proper reportage... It is that Americans work so hard at making it, it is often times too hard to do thier jobs as citizens... It was stolen by pen not my cannon... It is easier to know your enemy under dictator then a democratic republic...
@sparkyj99 As if the internet somehow magically made people smarter. Sorry, bub - people have never been dumber. Amerikans' ancestors were godlike geniuses by comparison, and they still fell for it. As for the silly street carnival that's playing at "Occupying Wall Street," they're by and large a pack of well meaning but ineffectual goofs. Nothing happens on the street, it's just another street. Let me know when they occupy Federal Reserve HQ & are really fighting back. LOL. You're a funny guy.
@HyperIndividualist ~~> Why the reserve?? You think paper money has something to do with it?? Money is just a myth... Gold is mined in Africa & Brazil now days... Americas middle class grew from the investment in the homefront with the electrical grids, highways, & such... And yes War... But investment has become a dirty word... Your right those kids should be in the halls of congress instead of on the wall... Like I said, the baby is waking... The reserve is just an empty building...
@sparkyj99 Fiat currency has everything to do with it. The Fed is the reason the rich get richer and the poor stay doomed losers. That you haven't figured that out shows what a chump you are. Congress are just puppets. Congress is the empty building full of empty suits. The Fed is the source of all the problems. Tell "money is a myth" to the broke slob living under a bridge. Paper money is a myth, sure, but they bought the world with it because mankind is stupid. Rulers & ruled, same old shit.
@HyperIndividualist ~~> Ofcourse because there was not a wealth gap back before paper money... Maybe I am the slob under the bridge... And maybe the bridge is owned by property rights... And there is no government... And property right wants 10 cents to pass... Theres apples on the other side and I'm hungry... But property rights owns those apples too... Where does that leave me?? I die of hunger... Ayn Rand much?? Simolia/Chad/Darfur... You think they deserve it don't you...
@sparkyj99 Somalia, Chad, & Sudan all have governments. Go read their constitutions. Yeah, they deserve it. They're morons. You might have a chance to earn that 10 cents & a lot more on top if all the parasites were out of the way. The premise you have is that we need a strong government to protect us from the corporations. That's a nice premise until one realizes the government enables the corporations to begin with. In fact, government itself is King Daddy of corporations by definition.
@HyperIndividualist ~~> Its supposed to be an non profit...lol I know what the hell is going on... You seen my page... I only earn my 10 cents IF you want my labor... In my state we have a guest worker program which allows corps to pay the least to migrents instead of an American Wage for an American Worker... Corps like paracites.... That way they can get the fools to punch down...
The 2 party system has brought us to the brink of a depression....4 years of this,8 years of that...Pick your poison....were slowing going down the toilet....wake up America...not just for your future, but for the future of your children, and grandchildren.....A 3rd Party IS real change...
I'm here to say I am a fan of both Ron Paul and Ralph Nader! Voted for Paul in the Republican primaries in 08, and voted for Nader in the general election.
@g2000m Many otherwise keen foreign observers of geopolitics have scratched their heads for years in puzzlement at Amerikans.I'll give them the big secret, the sine qua non for understanding Amerika: Amerikans are masochists, their rulers are sadists. It's a perfect match. That's why nothing will ever change for the better. Amerikans like licking the boot. They get off on being slaves. TSA provides a wonderful example. No self respecting human being would subject themselves to TSA perverts.
Both parties are the same, and that guy who commented about Ralph getting republicans elected is a moron, that includes everyone who thinks the same thing.
I wish more people were not afraid of the truth, this guy goes for that carbon crap too, that is just Genocide for the poor, but the Wall Street sales tax is a great idea.
i wish Ron Paul and Nader would get together and brainstorm something these two guys have more brains and common sense, and character than all these other candidates. RON PAUL 2012
@pjmack79 You do realize that Ron Paul is ideologically the polar opposite of Nader and is an utter bigot. In effect the only thing that "liberals" like about him is that he wants to make pot legal but that really only supports a small white male constituency.
Nader is largely a fool. The third-way candidate is supposedly somewhere in the middle but ultimately the modern third-way candidate barring Perot has been further left stranding the democrat and giving the win to the far right.
@Polystyrene11 Our problems have ceased to be left/right, conservative/liberal, republican/democrat issues. Our problems are now about what HAS to be done. Nader and Paul both realize this. Youtube has a video of Paul and Nader being interviewed together and agreeing with each other on the most important issues, "Polar opposites" maybe...but they both know what needs to be done.
@Polystyrene11 see now, I want to settle things by having common grounds, not what makes them different, if we can cooperate we can actually get something done, if not, we're spinning wheels, wasting time, and the country is going down the shitter in the meantime, so to go back and forth about the differences, DOES NOTHING for us American citizens and makes things far , far worse.
@pjmack79 Ralph would eat Paul for lunch. Paul is a corpratist, he wants to leave our economy, our health and enviornment at the mercy of the corporate goodwill and the 'free market'. Mr. Nader is the antithesis of the simplistic knee jerk Libtard foolishness that fool Paul spews.
"The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism—ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power."-Franklin D. Roosevelt
People have turned into conditioned slugs who love fatty foods, stupid media and thinking they are cool. I love hearing Nader, because he proves some politicians still have balls.
@TheAmusingHeckler Remember the morbidly obese people on the spaceship in Wall-E? Robots did everything for them, and they became gelatinous blobs who could barely move.
come on people haven't you figured it out yet, the republicans want to control your mind and the democrats want to control your money, why would you want either one
@HandyMan101 What makes you think that they're even separate entities? They're one & the same. All of the politicians in both major parties are owned by corporate interests & have been so for some time. Why else do you think we're always in these wars-for-profit? Anti-trust laws have been rescinded & corps have merged into the "too big to fail." Most corporations pay 0 taxes, many get grants & subsidies (eg. oil companies), they're bailed-out when they screw-up & then ship jobs overseas anyway
@mmedefarge It takes very little effort to start a corporation. To label "corporations" in such a negative light when its a select few of the big ones sucking off the tax payer is folly.
@HandyMan101 He's not talking about "Joe & Bros. Corp".; he's talking about the really big guys, the ones who've been buying our politicians, the ones without which very few can make a successful run for office. There may be few compared to the many small ones out there but they are our "decision makers."
@Sysv79 Yep, people are suckers for "order," i.e., slavery. So do what I did: resign from the human race. Now I just kick back and watch the shit-show. It's entertaining. I'm an equal opportunity hater, which adds even more spice to the mix.
So what if Nader helps get republicans elected!... Are people like him just supposed to sit back so a democratic asshole gets elected instead? Democrats and republicans.. different cheeks of the same ass!
He argues his case very convincingly. BUT, remember, a carbon tax will only burden working class, middle class and small business owners. This has already taken place in Australia. Do you think the U.S military will pay the carbon tax for every F-22 raptor, missile launched or bomb dropped on foreign countries? Think again. Do you think BP will? What about Nike, all shoe soles are made of plastic or synthetic materials produced out of oil. Think before you cheer something.
@RyanR3volution the government isnt a private organization--but its being run by and for private organizations. You said the Government is there to extract wealth and give it to others, implying that was its main goal. Yeah--it gives wealth to teachers, and to police departments and tries to make sure kids arent on the street. Really unintelligent people think that its bad because its takes money from rich people and gives it to lazy poor people, which is wrong for like 1000 reasons
The gov is a private organization then, much like a thug service except they have a monopoly on force and law, something that some competittion would take care of.
LOL, nice appeal to emotion fallacy.
So teachers would not exist, eh? Neither would law? Hmmmm
The gov is no different than a highway man, either your money or your life.
We are not free under this system and that is why there is so much suffering.
Gov has no right to steal from people to shape society.
@RyanR3volution That's the entire purpose of government. Government exists to aggrandize the few at the expense of the many. It always has and it always will. "Civilization" is basically a scam to control people. That's generally been true since the agrarian revolution. History teaches us that people usually love being slaves and will tolerate just about anything, no matter how atrocious or dehumanizing. Basically, mankind is fatally flawed and hardwired all wrong. It's a failed species.
@pawndominance1 If believe that single payer system, forming unions AGAINST globalization, forcing the markets to move on green technologies through legislation or regulations and more government spending/higher taxes and pensions and welfare is the answer..well then your about to find out what happens when a uneducated public elects a government to run a country. You will have high inflation of the dollar created by the fed, more finance bubbles and no real growth in jobs or wages.. more debt
@RyanR3volution Oh come on. He's not talking about how the majority of Americans supported slavery or segregation here. He's talking about universal health care and corporate accountability and fairness, which the majority of Americans support. The majority does and should encourage politicians to do what is right, at least on the issues he is addressing. Maybe not gay marriage, but he didn't include it in his group of majoritarian issues. Minority issues are what the judicial branch is for.
@RyanR3volution Continued from last comment.... The judicial branch, which the majority of Americans support changing so that it is more accountable to democracy rather than plutocracy. The majority of Americans are progressive whether they know it or not.
Why is it that "Pualtards" have way more respect for Ralph Nader than do Nader fans for Ron Paul? I don't understand this especially since Nader is friendly with Ron Paul.
WOW "Talkie Toaster" is as retarded as his name sounds.... Al Gore didn't lose because of Ralph Nader guys WAKE UP! The elections are RIGGED HARDCORE! Electoral college = Non-Democratic dictatorship. Gore won popular vote but he didn't win the presidency. Not because of Ralph Nader but because of Jeb Bush Diebold voting machines! You "liberals" have been brainwashed MAJOR who think Barack Hussein Obama's gonna save ya!
Ralph Nader was brilliant in this clip. I have never seen him more coherent. He makes Ron Paul sound like a blithering idiot. Everything he said made sense although I was apprehensive about who this move would actually help. He answered very clearly and on-point. Two thumbs up
Yeah, ending the wars, restoring rights, getting the gov out of marriage and drugs, ending corporate welfare, getting the gov out of destroying the economy, yeah, crazy talk...
If the elections would result in Ron Paul and/or Gary Johnson running up against Ralph Nader or Dennis Kucinich, I'd be happy. I'm a libertarian, but I'd take a passionate and honest politician I disagree with over some fake claiming to have my views any time.
@MadXMax187 There's nothing wrong with being optimistic, though. I think people might eventually wake up once things have gotten beyond bad. I just wish that's not what all this will come to.
liberals should just vote for Ron Paul, foreign policy and civil liberty is what the executive branch controls, many liberals agree with his stances on those issues, and most of the stuff liberals fear about him are not controlled by the executive, they do not write law, no matter how much obama/bush tried to.
@atripa645 No...Ron Paul is very much against corporatism. He and Nader agree on that among other things. Youtube has a video of Nader and Paul being interviewed together. You should watch it.
@whatisahumans corporation loving? Ur mad. He would have let the banks fail. He want to end ALL corporate welfare. He wants to end oil subsidies for oil companies but on the same principle want to cut government subsidies on green technology. Why? Because he knows of the power of the free markets.
I agree Obama need to be challenge, but Nader keep hoping the challenge as a warning for Obama to be more liberal when he really should just be replace.
It's will to be Obama's 2nd term... so he has no obligation to be liberal if he gets elected, regardless of any warnings. If he has no intentions of fighting for liberal causes than the Democrats base needs someone who will.

That Amerikans didn't do anything ages ago proves that they're pathologically incapable of being free. They love slavery.
HyperIndividualist 5 months ago
@HyperIndividualist ~~> Where are you that you don't see the people in the streets?? Conservitive Americans begged the TSA to groap thier kids... And I flew last week & it is not the big shit they make it to be... There were always scanners... And don't go all Orwell We were always at war bat crazy on me for that... The baby is waking & it is not too late... But you talk shit from afar... I am free... There is no gun to my head or piece of paper dictating my life...
sparkyj99 5 months ago
@sparkyj99 You're delusional. They scan your naked body into a database. They grope your children. No self respecting human being would put up with that. Only a subhuman masochist bitch slave would tolerate it. Obama continues all of Bush's policies, and yet you still idiotically bash conservatives. Here's a news flash left=right, democrat=republican, liberal=conservative. Those are all meaningless bullshit labels - the "illusion of choice". & yes, we're beyond Orwell's 1984. It's much worse.
HyperIndividualist 5 months ago

It's just too bad Amerikans are gutless swine.

veksink 5 months ago
@veksink Anti-Federalists got it right. I'm partial to the Articles of Confederation, which were good enough to defeat the largest empire the world had known up to that point. It's a moot point. Both are just rotting scraps of parchment in the national archives. The constitution does say that the law must be uniform, & taxes based on the census, which rules out progressive taxes. For the law to be uniform, each $ would have to be treated equally (& made of gold/silver).The nation thrived w/o IRS
HyperIndividualist 5 months ago

It is easier to know your enemy under dictator then a democratic republic...
sparkyj99 5 months ago
@sparkyj99 As if the internet somehow magically made people smarter. Sorry, bub - people have never been dumber. Amerikans' ancestors were godlike geniuses by comparison, and they still fell for it. As for the silly street carnival that's playing at "Occupying Wall Street," they're by and large a pack of well meaning but ineffectual goofs. Nothing happens on the street, it's just another street. Let me know when they occupy Federal Reserve HQ & are really fighting back. LOL. You're a funny guy.
HyperIndividualist 5 months ago

HyperIndividualist 5 months ago
@HyperIndividualist ~~> Ofcourse because there was not a wealth gap back before paper money... Maybe I am the slob under the bridge... And maybe the bridge is owned by property rights...

HyperIndividualist 5 months ago
@HyperIndividualist ~~> Its supposed to be an non profit...lol I know what the hell is going on... You seen my page... I only earn my 10 cents IF you want my labor... pjmack79 5 months ago 10
Polystyrene11 5 months ago
@Polystyrene11 Our problems have ceased to be left/right, conservative/liberal, republican/democrat issues. Our problems are now about what HAS to be done. Nader and Paul both realize this. Youtube has a video of Paul and Nader being interviewed together and agreeing with each other on the most important issues, "Polar opposites" maybe...but they both know what needs to be done.
peng1965a 5 months ago 4
@Polystyrene11 see now, I want to settle things by having common grounds, not what makes them different, if we can cooperate we can actually get something done, if not, we're spinning wheels, wasting time, and the country is going down the shitter in the meantime, so to go back and forth about the differences, DOES NOTHING for us American citizens and makes things far , far worse.
pjmack79 5 months ago

Roosevelt

HandyMan101 5 months ago
@HandyMan101 What makes you think that they're even separate entities? They're one & the same. All of the politicians in both major parties are owned by corporate interests & have been so for some time. Why else do you think we're always in these wars-for-profit? Anti-trust laws have been rescinded & corps have merged into the "too big to fail." Most corporations pay 0 taxes, many get grants & subsidies (eg. oil companies), they're bailed-out when they screw-up & then ship jobs overseas anyway
mmedefarge 5 months ago
@mmedefarge It takes very little effort to start a corporation. To label "corporations" in such a negative light when its a select few of the big ones sucking off the tax payer is folly.
HandyMan101 5 months ago
@HandyMan101 He's not talking about "Joe & Bros. Corp".; he's talking about the really big guys, the ones who've been buying our politicians, the ones without which very few can make a successful run for office. There may be few compared to the many small ones out there but they are our "decision makers."

"majoritarian issues"
Majorities do not make something right, mob rule is barbaric and immoral.
Groups of people ruling over one another is the problem, not the solution.
RyanR3volution 5 months ago 2
@RyanR3volution he means government working for the majority of people in the country--not just the top 1 percent richest people on the planet
pawndominance1 5 months ago 18
@pawndominance1
That does not make sense, neither minority or majority rule is just.
The government is by definition a private organization working for private companies to extract wealth from the population and funnel it to others.
This whole myth that the gov "works for people" needs to die.
RyanR3volution 5 months ago
@RyanR3volution the government isnt a private organization--but its being run by and for private organizations. You said the Government is there to extract wealth and give it to others, implying that was its main goal. Yeah--it gives wealth to teachers, and to police departments and tries to make sure kids arent on the street. Really unintelligent people think that its bad because its takes money from rich people and gives it to lazy poor people, which is wrong for like 1000 reasons
pawndominance1 5 months ago
@pawndominance1
RyanR3volution 5 months ago
@RyanR3volution That's the entire purpose of government. Government exists to aggrandize the few at the expense of the many. It always has and it always will. "Civilization" is basically a scam to control people. That's generally been true since the agrarian revolution. History teaches us that people usually love being slaves and will tolerate just about anything, no matter how atrocious or dehumanizing. Basically, mankind is fatally flawed and hardwired all wrong. It's a failed species.
