I can totally give this band respect, because they split the song into two vocal parts, since it was a dual story anyways. Hendrix just played both the parts when he did the song. Also people that pick on the vocalists tend to forget that English is not their first language!!! Props to the band, nice way of showing respect to a master like Jimi!

sure I could have played behind my head, or I would have worn a school girls uniform and played something by acdc, I agree with you though, first solo pretty much sucked, maybe because it didn't really get me motivated, first I was planning to improvise but then I ended up making an easy version of the solo just for rehersals and then I got stuck with that, but check out the completely improvised solo in the end, we didn't have a solo there untill there during the actual performance.
