@ichael333 Not really at all, except you get a misc quest to join the Stormcloaks in Windhelm rather than the Imperials in Solitude. However, you can still join either one. The other hidden thing is that following Hadvar makes it much easier to get two-handed weapons early, since you can loot them from stormcloaks (but imperials all use swords).

i think most people struggle to read the text on skyrim. it's so ridiculously small. god forbid any severely dyslexic person would play skyrim because they'd not last very long without someone to read the writing out to them. and i was being deliberately obtuse in my response to polarmason because of pedantic reply to Armagale...
