@warlocks4life War is serious?! lol, war is a game and those in power are playing. Focus on all the death and "terrorist" worry you want. The fact is, the United States government is at war for profit. There is nothing serious about "security" only taking away your rights in the name of security, is beneficial to the current behind the scenes Neo Con fascists that everyone is too happy to accept in the fake name of "patriotism".
@Revolution2pointO I meant to put NOT know 100% that war is correct. I completely agree with everything you wrote. These wars are for money, but it's not just a neocon thing. A lot of people on the left supported them as well (members in congress and now Obama in Libya, not the people who keep electing them).
There are lots of things I disagree with Ron Paul. I don't like his stand on corporations. I do like his ideas about war, the fed, and bankers over all.
Governor Mitt Romney is a RINO. He supports stringent gun laws. His Massachusetts Health care overhaul pales in comparison to the atrocity of Obamacare, but it was similar. Seriously I'd support Paul, Bachmann, West, Huckabee, and a few others. I'm against Romney because he's a RINO, who may be very similar to Obama. Romney should roll the democrat he is.
.
I think Ron Paul / Allen West would be a strong ticket. (Got that idea off someone)
@davidinellicott you know what who the hell cares what he's labeled, hes the right man for the job no matter what group or PARTY he belongs to... Ron Paul 2012
Ron Paul looks good at face value because he is a libertarian. But if people actually look at his policies, he is terrible. He wants less regulation on corporations and Wall Street (which is what caused the recession). He wants to completely get rid of welfare programs like Medicare, Social Security, and Unemployment. He's a lot more conservative than most in office.
I don't know how most liberals can look past these views of his.
@EliteKiller07 Ron Paul wants to end the fed. They are what caused the recession. Not free markets. Sure he is conservative. a REAL conservative. You must have them confused with neo-cons. Because that is the only "conservative" I've seen lately. Ron Paul may be conservative but he is also pretty liberal when it comes to certain uses. Like the fraudulent war on drugs that supports the fraudulent prison industrial complex.
@EliteKiller07 You need to do some actual research into Ron Paul's philosophy and liberty in general, stop getting ur talking points from main stream media. You talk about corporations, ill tell you what---if Obama and Ron Paul face off in 2012 guarenteed all the big corporations will be lining up to support Obama. He is a corporatist whore. Corporations are scared to death of someone like Ron Paul b/c they know he will put an end to the trillions in welfare they receive.
@EliteKiller07 I don't think you realise that regulations specificly wallstreet related typically benefit the big business, and makes it extremely hard for starting businesses. If I could make a suggestion to you, don't look at just symptoms, find out the core of the problem...where it all starts.
Recessions aren't the problem(this is the market correcting the bad), artificial BOOMS are
Lliberals will submit when they can't get a decent argument in anymore, or if things get really bad very soon.
It's never been up to the president to decide whether the US should go to war or not but corporate bastards that supported such president during election time.
Giuliani's example is awful, Kennedy's leadership is one of the only things that STOPPED us from ending up in a nuclear war during the Missile Crisis. He'd read a book about how conflict can come from misinterpreting other people's actions, so he made sure to communicate with Russia's leaders and find a peaceful resolution. It's one of the best examples and arguments for the need for a NON-warmongering president. Funny that Rudy got that backwards.
so mitt romney just bypassed Congress...i'm pretty sure the Founding Fathers put in 3 different branches of government so you wouldn't have a Dictatorship Mr. Romney, war mongering neo con.
Ron Paul is a great man and an even greater leader. Any politician that looks to the constitution for answers on how to run this country will get my vote.
That being said Mr. Liberalviewer, your friends on the otherside of the aisle aren't doing any better following the constitution. Secondly, Mr. Kennedy would be much more inline with libertarian conservatism than authoritarian liberalism.
Oh my God! I never saw this. I can't believe Mitt Romney actually meant that? lol... Lawyers! Ron Paul was the front runner early on... He'd have been a great Pres. as he tells it as it is! Ron Paul 2012
I must admit I enjoy watching your videos and the questions you bring up, however the child voice in the beginning and end is incredibly irritating when watching more than one video :)
yea trust lawyers! hahaha what a fucken moron. and it dosent matter if its a conflict or a war.. those r juss words. juss lay it out straight. we are sacrificing our sons and daughters. so that a few rich men can prosper. we die in wars. we dont get weapons contracts, we dont get building contracts, we dont get cheap labor for our companies, we juss loose lives.. open ur eyes. is it coincidence that the iraq war will make billions for companies like halliburton=dick cheney? FUCK THAT SHIT!
Narration on this is clearly done by a fool with no grounding in logic or understanding in the way the USA functions.
Actually, ron paul, you may fight battles without a deceleration of war, but he is right, you can not "go to war" there is a difference. If you had ANY clue you would know that.
You clearly have no understanding of presidential power. SO glad YOU through your vote away on the guy who had NO chance in hell, ron paul
...we are in 2 wars without a single declaration of war by Congress. You sir are the "fool with no grounding in logic or understanding in the way the USA [is functioning]."
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
We are NOT in any wars, we are, in fact, in conflicts. There is NO law requiring congress even to be notified when the president chooses to commit forces. Congress is only required should the president choose to make an official declaration of war.
There IS a law saying that Congress has to approve troops beyond a certain number WHICH THEY DID DO, ergo, there is congressional approval, and no war. Clue in my friend, try a high school government class for starters.
You shouldn't talk about things you don't understand. You stated: "There is NO law requiring congress even to be notified when the president chooses to commit forces." War Powers Resolution (WPR) [Title 50, United States Code, Section 1542] states: that the President "in every possible instance shall consult with Congress before introducing United States Armed Forces."
Of course, but every president who has commited forces has introduced forces without consulting them because it "was not possible" and it has been fine and dandy each time. Again learn something, stop doing internet searches to try to "prove" your point.
First of all, I already knew the WPR said the President has to consult Congress before sending troops. All I looked up was the exact part, which was for your benefit so you could check it if you didn't believe me.
Why do you think it's fine and dandy to disregard the rule of law? Just because every president ends up being a liar while they're in office and breaks their campaign promises does it make it okay?
Is it the Iraq conflict or Iraq war? ...Just saying.
I suggest that you get up to speed on how Congress gave approval for the war. They are required to give a formal declaration of war, but all they issued was an Authorization of the Use of Military Force. Declarations of War keep administrations honest by forcing them to lay out their case to the American people while at the same time honoring the constitution. In short, a Dec. of War would of kept us out of this quagmire.
I actually took a high school government class, and, even better, I ended up majoring in political science in college. The conflict power granted to the President, if you remember your history, were given to call out the troops on a minute's notice when/if we were directly attacked to defend ourselves until Congress had time to meet and declare war. This did not give the President unlimited conflict powers to arrogantly send troops whenever and wherever he wanted to - especially after 18 months.
jus cuz we use the term "CONFLICT" instead of War, doesn't mean there are less innocent lives being killed, less SOLDIERS being killed, or less elitists profiting off these conflicts
Wow, UCLA wow, I am very impressed. I should have known it was someone so stupid as to actually attempt to brag as to what university they went to, and shoot, you have not even graduated yet. No wonder, you think you know it all, yet clearly know nothing. Wait until you get into the real world and stop smoking what your hippie teachers are feeding you. Then you will see what the world is really like. UCLA, what a joke! Amazing.
You think my professors like Ron Paul? Haha you've obviously never been around "higher education." Consider yourself lucky though cause it's not all it's cracked up to be. If they were actually concerned with teaching truth they'd feature people like FA Hayek and Milton Friedman.
Stop hating on me. You're just upset that you've never accomplished anything in your miserable life so you're trying to drag me down too.
LOL! I agree. The ONLY leadership the GOP has today is Nitt-Witt-Mitt Romney & he's personally flipped-flopped on so MANY hard-core conservative issues, he can't stand on his own 2 feet anymore. Jindal & Failin have proven themselves to be a national joke & dumber-than-diarrhea, while Rush has taken so much Oxy-Contin, it's eaten away ALL his brain.
It's GREAT knowing RepubliCONs have gone into exile & have ALL slithered back to the FLDS Compound where they originally came from. ~Ban Coulter
Im def gonna vote for you on 2012, but the owners of this country have the voting booths rigged, remember bush vs gore? Obama and acorn ?
He was never even born in the USA. He was born in Kenya, why else would he spend over $800,000 hiding his birth cert.
LOOK IT UP because the news sure as hell wont.
We all ought to vote with texting in with our cell phones (my opinion). It's harder to represent more than one person at cheap expense, and is more convenient, and reliable than acorn.
You can't change people as much as they can change you. You can't convert people without the use of force. Only with deceit and brainwashing does that work, and that's just low.
I could see it now. Had Ron Paul been elected all those suit and tie folks in Washington, D.C would be looking for another job. OOPPS. They wouldn't find one since the both parties shipped our jobs overseas. I don't need no more government intervention placed upon my children. They started this fight and are disgraceful.
Hey Everyone, How about a Book Bomb on Thursday, December 10th for "The Revolution: A Manifesto"!!?? Just in time for the Holidays..."Give the gift of Freedom!"
Order at least 1 Ron Paul book for friends and family. If this sounds like a good idea, spread the word, grassroots style!
Most states don't even count write-ins. If you want to send the politicians a message, vote third party. Ron Paul endorsed Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution party.
doesn't matter how good he is, hes a republican and if he were president the republicans would be in power, he's the only good republican. its not worth having an entire administration of evil people just cos the leader good
ehhh as much as i hate to say, u are right....ron paul would be so pressured to go against his ideals if he were president and was pushing for what he believes in...more than likely he wouldn't budge, and i WOULD NOT be surprised if ron paul was assassinated after becoming president..as much as we need him as president, his ideals would be futile
only good republican? are u freaking joking? the entire group of democrats senators are freaking useless. and u think obama would not bend to his party's will? he is already a pupet of the old democrat regime which through their failed home ownership policie had already drive this great country in the a crap hole.
and it DOESN'T matter what party our country is ran by..it's already ran by people neither reb. nor dem. it's ran by the elite who stay in the shadows while the people in the publics eye are watched and thought about and studied...everybody is an actor in government. do u really think this is a democracy?..any government has executive control by a handfull of people. the condition of that country depends on how much they will sell their people out and how much they wish to stretch their power
the president doesn't have any power, yet the executive branch waged every war after WW2 without congressional approval..u don't even know what a real republican stands for..they stand for humble foreign policy (opposite what we are) they are conservative and are very modest with spending (opposite what we are)..are very passive when it comes to war because it is so costly in every way (opposite of what we are)..our current rep. party is a mockery..
i wonder why republicans get so much support from the super rich and big business. hmm? and how the fuck should i know if americas a democracy, im australian XD. i just read noam chomsky and repeat his views like theyre my own, makes me sound clever XD. but im pretty sick of you americans thinking you're Team America: World Police! seriously yr arrogance is mind boggling. i dint kno whether to laugh or cry when cheney warned of "iranian interference in iraqi affairs" an OCCUPYING countrys warnin
Ron Paul has been in the thick of things for over 30 years. He's been saying the same things the entire time. His monetary policy ideas are genius, his understanding of foreign policy is sound, his passion for pursueing liberty is unmatched. Ron Paul is the Jesus Christ of american politics. Let's support him and his campaign and win back our freedom.
It really depends on how you interperate the constitution and logic. But you are right, he is a vuery humble person in terms of politics. And remember that in the political race, consistancy isn't always the best thing. That is, being consistant with his/her own views, not talking about constitutional consistancy.
logical being what will fix our country?there's no other way to interpret it.we hated by the middleeast because we first went on the offensive there and provoked hate, and he wants to pull out for that reason, and since we also don't have the money to be there...he wants to get rid of the federal reserve and bring back the gold standard since that is 95% of our economic problems...he wants to redo what the founders of this country created, the true intellectuals of america
its quite possible to hate libertarianism man. like the libertarian objections to welfare. the idea that the disabled widow across town who has no food to eat should just 'get off her ass' because for the government to step in it would be "ZOMG big brother!! fascist tyranny ahhhh!!! orwells nightmare ahhhhh its 1984 come true ahhhhh!!"
u do realize that the government gets the money for civil services from american tax payers right?...do u feel there should be a mandatory tax taken out for welfare to support random people who are poor?..there should be non-profit organizations for the unfortunate people who are poor and cannot work, there SHOULDN'T be a mandatory tax taken out from everyones pay so those poor people can be taken care of...too many people abuse that system and too many hand working people have to pay for it
i see so lets just tell those unfortunates to sit tight until some future utopia comes about. basically taking the position that we don't care about the problems people face today, and want to think about a possible tomorrow. OK, but then don't pretend to have any interest in human beings and their fate
u fuckin goofball..ur lookin for a debate..surely u read what i said about non-profit organizations taking care of those unfortunate people..non-profit healthcare, homeless centers, soup kitchens, retirement homes, etc...who are u to say i don't care about people?...i ALSO consider the hardworking people who have to pay a mandatory tax mostly for people who milk the welfare system...what about those people?...the federal government isn't for aid, non-profit organizations are
you dont understand what im saying. we have no system in place where every poor person can rely on a non prof immediately. maybe in some future utopia where these kinds of organizations are operating with flawless precision, until then you're willing to deprive everyone, so i don't think depriving a disabled widow of food is a fair trade off for stopping a fraudster getting a check too.
obviously we can't just rip the rug out from under their feet and toss out the system instantly..it has to gradually be reformed, but it has to start somewhere and as soon as possible..YET, it never will be in my opinion..we're never gonna do away with the notion that big government needs to help us live our lives..that's not their job and should never be their job...government is not reason, it is force..it will use it whenever possible and disguise their use of it with all kinds of "good" deeds
at least if i had my way the fucking REPUBLICANS wouldn't be in power, fucking republican lover. u don't care if a evil elitist scummy party is in charge just cos the fucking leader is different, how fucking silly
u have no idea what ur talking about..do u think what party someone is matters?..both parties have their strings pulled by the same people..and there's nothing wrong with being republican..the neo-rep's are nothing like real traditional rep's..so, to be rep doesn't mean u support their current agenda..but, it doesn't even matter if ur democrat or rep. because, no matter which party is in power, they will be controlled and pushed by the same people..the party system is bullshit..ur an idiot
what an idiot, u actually think it matters who the president is? the president is a fucking ceremonial position, a trained actor. and yeh it fucking matters what party yr from, dems and reps are basically the same but there ARE small differences and in a large power system that translates to large effects. reps will always be a slightly more extreme hawkish foreign policy choice, like it or not, you are still a toothless redneck if you vote republican
Bureaucratic elite to be more precise to the idiot sheeple who haven't an idea, but your right more and more people are beginning to realize this. Keep spreading the word to the idiot sheeple.
Its a shame Ron Paul lost. My own Parents voted for McCain because they thought it was more important to vote for a more "Legitimate Candidate" to go against Romney. Talk about sad. Ron Paul said the right thing to do repeatedly, but no one took him seriously, because his ideas were too grandiose for some. Remove the troops from Iraq and put them on the border, GREAT IDEA! At the poles? Not so much. Groupthink is a major threat, even Michael Yon said so, ironically. Too bad no one sees it.
Ron Paul doesn't do very well as a repulican. He actually read the constitution. It's a shame really. Here is a man who actually understands the very basics of civil liberties, presidentail power, and the role of the federal and state governments in relation to the american people. Instead of being hailed as a great leader and actually being a true republican force to be noticed and listened to, his OWN PARTY seems to shun him and try very hard to push him out of the spot light.
Romney, or Giuliani would just continue on like Bush and Obama..... Ron Paul to save what is left of America... Finally, someone with some sense.
EliteKiller07 1 year ago

PikSokolit 11 months ago
@EliteKiller07 I don't think you realise that regulations specificly wallstreet related typically benefit the big business, and makes it extremely hard for starting businesses. If I could make a suggestion to you, don't look at just symptoms, find out the core of the problem...where it all starts.
Recessions aren't the problem(this is the market correcting the bad), artificial BOOMS are
Lliberals will submit when they can't get a decent argument in anymore, or if things get really bad very soon.

PadawanPhil 2 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
We are NOT in any wars, we are, in fact, in conflicts.
ChaplainC 2 years ago
You shouldn't talk about things you don't understand. You stated: "There is NO law requiring congress even to be notified when the president chooses to commit forces." War Powers Resolution (WPR) [Title 50, United States Code, Section 1542] states: that the President "in every possible instance shall consult with Congress before introducing United States Armed Forces."
PadawanPhil 2 years ago
Of course, but every president who has commited forces has introduced forces without consulting them because it "was not possible" and it has been fine and dandy each time. Again learn something, stop doing internet searches to try to "prove" your point.
You just have no clue at all do you.
ChaplainC 2 years ago
First of all, I already knew the WPR said the President has to consult Congress before sending troops. All I looked up was the exact part, which was for your benefit so you could check it if you didn't believe me.
Why do you think it's fine and dandy to disregard the rule of law? Just because every president ends up being a liar while they're in office and breaks their campaign promises does it make it okay?
PadawanPhil 2 years ago 2
And PadawanPhil wins!!!
ghbinder 2 years ago 2
Is it the Iraq conflict or Iraq war? ...Just saying.
I suggest that you get up to speed on how Congress gave approval for the war. They are required to give a formal declaration of war, but all they issued was an Authorization of the Use of Military Force. Declarations of War keep administrations honest by forcing them to lay out their case to the American people while at the same time honoring the constitution. In short, a Dec. of War would of kept us out of this quagmire.
PadawanPhil 2 years ago
I actually took a high school government class, and, even better, I ended up majoring in political science in college. The conflict power granted to the President, if you remember your history, were given to call out the troops on a minute's notice when/if we were directly attacked to defend ourselves until Congress had time to meet and declare war. This did not give the President unlimited conflict powers to arrogantly send troops whenever and wherever he wanted to - especially after 18 months.

and it DOESN'T matter what party our country is ran by..it's already ran by people neither reb. nor dem. it's ran by the elite who stay in the shadows while the people in the publics eye are watched and thought about and studied...everybody is an actor in government. do u really think this is a democracy?..any government has executive control by a handfull of people. the condition of that country depends on how much they will sell their people out and how much they wish to stretch their power

itzahazylife 3 years ago 4
It really depends on how you interperate the constitution and logic. But you are right, he is a vuery humble person in terms of politics. And remember that in the political race, consistancy isn't always the best thing. That is, being consistant with his/her own views, not talking about constitutional consistancy.
iwebber88 3 years ago
logical being what will fix our country?there's no other way to interpret it.we hated by the middleeast because we first went on the offensive there and provoked hate, and he wants to pull out for that reason, and since we also don't have the money to be there...he wants to get rid of the federal reserve and bring back the gold standard since that is 95% of our economic problems...he wants to redo what the founders of this country created, the true intellectuals of america

its quite possible to hate libertarianism man. like the libertarian objections to welfare. the idea that the disabled widow across town who has no food to eat should just 'get off her ass' because for the government to step in it would be "ZOMG big brother!! fascist tyranny ahhhh!!! orwells nightmare ahhhhh its 1984 come true ahhhhh!!"
butterflycaught900 3 years ago
u do realize that the government gets the money for civil services from american tax payers right?...do u feel there should be a mandatory tax taken out for welfare to support random people who are poor?..there should be non-profit organizations for the unfortunate people who are poor and cannot work, there SHOULDN'T be a mandatory tax taken out from everyones pay so those poor people can be taken care of...too many people abuse that system and too many hand working people have to pay for it
itzahazylife 3 years ago
i see so lets just tell those unfortunates to sit tight until some future utopia comes about. basically taking the position that we don't care about the problems people face today, and want to think about a possible tomorrow. OK, but then don't pretend to have any interest in human beings and their fate
butterflycaught900 3 years ago
u fuckin goofball..ur lookin for a debate..surely u read what i said about non-profit organizations taking care of those unfortunate people..non-profit healthcare, homeless centers, soup kitchens, retirement homes, etc...who are u to say i don't care about people?...i ALSO consider the hardworking people who have to pay a mandatory tax mostly for people who milk the welfare system...what about those people?...the federal government isn't for aid, non-profit organizations are
itzahazylife 3 years ago
you dont understand what im saying. we have no system in place where every poor person can rely on a non prof immediately. maybe in some future utopia where these kinds of organizations are operating with flawless precision, until then you're willing to deprive everyone, so i don't think depriving a disabled widow of food is a fair trade off for stopping a fraudster getting a check too.
butterflycaught900 3 years ago
obviously we can't just rip the rug out from under their feet and toss out the system instantly..it has to gradually be reformed, but it has to start somewhere and as soon as possible..YET, it never will be in my opinion..we're never gonna do away with the notion that big government needs to help us live our lives..that's not their job and should never be their job...government is not reason, it is force..it will use it whenever possible and disguise their use of it with all kinds of "good" deeds

u have no idea what ur talking about..do u think what party someone is matters?..both parties have their strings pulled by the same people..and there's nothing wrong with being republican..the neo-rep's are nothing like real traditional rep's..so, to be rep doesn't mean u support their current agenda..but, it doesn't even matter if ur democrat or rep. because, no matter which party is in power, they will be controlled and pushed by the same people..the party system is bullshit..ur an idiot
itzahazylife 3 years ago
what an idiot, u actually think it matters who the president is? the president is a fucking ceremonial position, a trained actor. and yeh it fucking matters what party yr from, dems and reps are basically the same but there ARE small differences and in a large power system that translates to large effects. reps will always be a slightly more extreme hawkish foreign policy choice, like it or not, you are still a toothless redneck if you vote republican
