No, i've had no lessons at all. Self taught is probably the best way to be in my opinion, cause when you come to write stuff you won't conform to scales or modes, or any of that. I have taught myself some music theory however, but thats for a completely different reason. Thanks for asking, btw, not many people would. @Stephh211 Awesome, it's good to hear of someone else playing with a pick. I think it's great that you're starting to play as well. I've been playing for about 3 years, and the only advice I would give is: don't use books or online lessons or any of that crap. Familiarise yourself with fretting, and your guitar, and then just play songs that you like. Also don't listen to all of the people on YT who tell you not to play with a pick. Good luck, and I can't wait to see your videos :)
